Amazing place
I had a great stay at Hostel On! The location is perfect, just one minute from the beach and close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. The hostel is always clean, the beds are comfortable, and the common areas are spacious and welcoming.
The staff are incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything you need. It has a relaxed atmosphere and it's very easy to meet other travellers from all over the world.
If you're looking for an affordable, clean, and well-located place to stay in Malta, I highly recommend Hostel On. I would definitely stay here again!

This is a tourist trap not a hostel!
This is not a serious or trustworthy host! I decided to cancel my reservation, and they literally ignored all my messages and phone calls until, according to them, it was no longer possible to cancel. When they finally started communicating with me, the only thing they did was process the payment, from which—based on their unclear and misleading cancellation policy—50% of the amount was supposedly still refundable, and then they stopped communicating completely.
This owner makes money by scamming people, not by providing accommodation.

Thank you for your service in an hour of need
Following an unpleasant incident elsewhere, I found myself alone out on the streets of Sliema late at night with nowhere to sleep, and was facing the real possibility of spending the final night of my holiday sleeping rough. That's when I encountered Hostel On. Despite it not being their policy to admit guests at that late hour, the hostel took mercy on me and gave me a bed for the night, only charging €5 more than would have cost had I booked in advance and arrived within their regular check-in times.
Having to sleep rough on the streets of a country I don't know very well would've only caused me further distress, but in the end, I was able to sleep soundly in complete safety, security and comfort. So to Hostel On and all the staff who helped me the other night: thank you so much for your generosity, kindness and understanding.
