Oviedo

It was very nice experience for being in oviedo. Weather was cold, you dont know when you are going to face rain. People are friendly and nice. Another plus is Oviedo is one of cleanest city in Spain.

Good value, standard room

We stayed at Hotel Oviedo for two nights and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is in a very rustic old building that stands out along the Acapulco main esplanade and the room was clean with a fantastic view. It was very good value and came with air conditioning and cable TV, but no breakfast. The hotel is right next to the downtown main square (Zocalo) but is quite a walk away from where most of the other hotels/popular restaurants are so consider that if it's important to you. The wifi was very slow. It is also quite noisy at night, being next to the main road, which was probably the biggest drawback. It's nothing amazingly nice but for budget travellers it's fine.

An okay stay..

The place was very moderate and not very cleanly maintained but for someone looking to just load all your stuff and run around the city, it might be a decent option for the only reason it is very much connected to all parts of the bay city well..

This is only for the budget traveler...

I paid about $27/night. Credit cards accepted. Located downtown in the old section of Acapulco. Vicinity is not charming, not beautiful. Close to the cliff divers. You'll need to take a bus to go to any decent restaurants. Do not bring your wife or girlfriend here for a week's vacation. This is not a resort. This is a budget place for backpackers. Staff is nice and professional. Rooms are clean and functional. Hot water. A/C. Wifi. Oxxo downstairs. Scotiabank downstairs. I had a good view of the bay from my room. I think Acapulco sucks and warrants one day--see the clavadistas, go over to the island and climb the lighthouse, and then get out...

Basic but good value for your money

Air conditioning, TV, Wifi, comfortable beds for the price you usually pay for a dorm. Since I couldn't find any hostels in Acapulco I was very pleased to find this hotel and enjoyed my stay here very much.
