The place was funky and fun and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and we wish we brought more food to cook. We did a snorkel trip with another organization because they did not have enough people to take a boat out. The snorkeling was so great so make sure you do a trip! The beaches that you drive to are much nicer than the one close by for swimming. We never used the pool because every time we wanted to there were folks learning to scuba in it but it looks nice. We will return to Cabo Pulmo.

Great Time with CPBR

Just came home after an excellent time diving with Cabo Pulmo Beach Resort. On the first dive, my wife had a sinus block and Alfredo was great at helping deal with it. Alfredo got us to differnt sites for each of the four dives. The fish life was very abundant. Alfredo was professional and knows the area, the two captains were also very professional. Staff back at the pool and the restaurant were always very helpful & with a smile. I'll be back!

I’m coming back

Room was comfortable, the diving is great.
The dive masters and boat captains were fantastic and relaxed.
The food in the restaurant is great and Jonathon, our server all week, was very personal and attentive and a great server in every respect.
The owner made a point to talk with us briefly whenever he would see us.
Julie and Daniel are excellent dive guides.
Thank you for a great stay.

If you're looking for an actual resort, this is far from it.

Far more remote than any of us expected, and unfortunately, there was nothing "resort" about this place. It's incredibly misleading to use that word in the name. As you'll see from the photos, the "resort" as well as all surrounding areas are completely dirt/sand. Don't plan to bring any nice shoes with you. It's as casual as you can imagine. It's very much a snorkle/scub/beach community. The rooms where we stayed were spacious and clean inside. The beds weren't the most comfortable - basically like sleeping on a VERY FIRM mattress. The "couch" area is essentially the 2nd or 3rd "bed" to sleep on. The first morning there, the wi-fi went out as well as the a/c and all power. The a/c is not something you can use regularly so be prepared for warmer conditions. There are a lot of dogs in this community and unfortunately their barking throughout the night kept us up ALL NIGHT FOR SEVERAL NIGHTS. It was maddening. Apparently the dogs belonged to a long term stay of this resort and they weren't being cared for properly. The issue was addressed with the owner, Cole, but not much was done to resolve this. We were a group of 11 and people started sleeping with ear plugs. That shouldn't be necessary but still didn't calm the frustrations of the group. The area is INCREDIBLY remote to anywhere else! It's a long bumpy dirt road to get there, and there are minimal resources other than a couple walkable "markets" with basic needs and snacks. Don't count on a grocery store. Surprisingly, the food at the resort as well as nearby was fantastic! I The portions were large, the fish and other foods were incredibly fresh, and the locals were really friendly. Having snorkeled in other areas of the world, unfortunately, the water isn't as clear, the coral isn't as bright and the water conditions are not as enjoyable. I would not return.

Coral Reef Restaurant

First Things First, the Food is absolutely incredible!!! Staff skilled, helpful and friendly. Location with a nice View Over the beach From the balcony. Those Guys know how to Run the Business!
