The entire staff at Sandos couldn’t be more pleasant, helpful and genuinely happy to assist us in any way! The room was big, stocked with water, soda, beer etc and it was cleaned daily.

Sandos Royal Elite program is a rip off.

Whatever you do, don't buy into their elite program. Once they have your money they no longer care. Not to mention it costs more to go there as a Royal Elite member than what I would pay just booking through Westjet. Total rip off and their sales team will lie through their teeth.

Overall we had a lovely stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed the pools. I would say there is a slightly worn quality in the room and the pool area. The pool deck does NOT look like the videos and the concrete looks like it could use a good cleaning and repair, including in the center DJ/performance are. We did enjoy the pool activities, including volleyball games and some of the bands/singers. I think it is a perfectly good resort for relaxing with friends and family. Bar One and the pool service were excellent, while Bar Six was missing a bartender for at least 10 minutes during World Cup so I left. Room service was fast and delivered hot but our restaurant experiences varied. Frattini was lovely and fast but other people told us there was a long wait on another night. The breakfast buffet at Zango offers an excellent variety for everyone. St Trop, which we had for lunch twice, was only so so with a small buffet offering and grilled meats. Pizza is a yes at the same location! Gaijin, for which you must make a reservation is a standard tepanyaki experience without the Benihana cheese factor. It was just ok. Truly what made this a great stay were the staff and the other guests.

Staff was amazing, front desk clerk, Angel, and Guest Relations Manager, Josette, helped resolve an issue that was my fault. Everyone worked with Hotels.com to resolve the problem in minutes.
The staff was attentive the entire time. This included entertainment staff, waiters, bartenders, maintenance. All friendly and made us feel welcome and appreciated.
The property is showing its age. Some of the blue tiles around the pool are a little faded, the high traffic areas in the pool area have shown some wear. With that said, it was very well maintained and staff was there every morning tending to the beach and pool areas.
Amazing beach. I have stayed at some properties with a rocky beach. Sandos had a clean beach and we used it daily. It was also well cared for.
There are 3 pools in very close proximity. One pool has a hot tub, one seems to be primarily for games and activities with a DJ by this pool from morning until about 4pm.
The downside of the trip was the food. There are 5 main restaurants on site. Food options were relatively limited and most didn't feel like they used good quality ingredients. Mixed drinks were also kind of blah. St. Trop by the pools did have the best margaritas. Dos Equis draft seemed to be the only beer option at the bars.
Gift shop was terribly over-priced. I paid $28USD for 8 Advil.
We did not feel any pressure from the time share salesmen or tour sales staff and were never approached.
Overall, positive experience.

Best entertainment staff!!!

Josh and Karla were PHENOMENAL!! Their energy was fantastic and they hyped up the whole crown❤️
It was so much fun. They worked all day to make sure that everyone had an amazing time. Can’t wait to come back
