Excellent !

Les chambres ainsi que les zones comunes son très Très propre, pis le Personnel est très chaleureux! Il y a une vraie ambiance de silence ! Bien localisé ! Voilà, tout ce qu’on peut souhaiter pour avoir un voyage tranquille en Real de Catorce.

Rude and unprofessional staff; we are not whining or exaggerating, please read!

We don't normally write bad reviews, but this has to be one of the WORST hotel experiences we have ever had. The staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional. These are just some examples:
1. The hotel is accessible via one set of stairs and two side "ramps/stairs". One night we came back to the hotel to find that the main stairs to the hotel were deliberately blocked off by a pickup truck belonging to somebody in the staff, and the two ramps were blocked by motorcycles. We had our 80+ year old in-laws with us and literally had to push them up the to the hotel platform because all access points were blocked! When we talked to the staff about it, they did not offer an apology, remedy, or explanation. Instead WE were asked to apologize for complaining and told our tone of voice was rude!
2. During one of the nights, the staff had brought in what seemed to be relatives (including small children) to have a small get-together in the hotel stock room which was right next to our room. The whole group was listening to music, playing games, and making noise. This was not just rude to us, but was inconsiderate of all the hotel guests.
3. During checkout we were told to pay for our room upgrade using cash only and the staff refused to give a receipt. We really doubt that money ever made it back to the hotel owner. The person who did the checkout literally looked like the gardener, his clothes were dirty and didn't look like somebody you'd expect to be tending to the hotel.
The staff handed us a card claiming we could contact the owner if we had any complaints. We have sent a copy of this review. If he/she cares, the whole staff needs to be replaced! Stay away from this hotel at all costs!

Hotel in Real

Nice hotel, a bit overpriced for the size of the room. Might be noisy at night (as many others places in Mexico ) Location is on the main Street, very close to the bus station. Staff is helpful. Just be sure of the reservation, we did on FB and when we arrived there was no booking

If you only are there for sleep.....

This is an hotel that have the basics: Warm water, clean bed an that´s it. If you only go to sleep and stay one night is ok. You will be safe and live another day. There is no lobby and to be fair, it is very close to the only parking lot in Real de Catorce...so you wont get tired bringing in your luggage.

Гостили три дня в августе. Бронировали 4 номера. Все остались единогласны в мнении и с радостью покидали Реаль де Каторс.
Из плюсов: удачное расположение, аутентичный интерьер, питьевая вода, чай на ресепшне.
Из минусов: маленькие, некомфортные номера, нет стульев, шкафа. Да и холодные. Кондиционера нет.
