Family vacation.
We are visiting this location for 18 years
If you've never be here, We strongly recommend to come you won't regrett. Staff workers are really awesome here, helping in professional scale. They are make our stay here. Doinh the most to be comfortable is possible.. Thank you for management. Thank you for all prestige club workers. Wonderful Family Vacation!!!
We just returned from a wonderful week-long vacation at Delmar, and our family had an amazing time. This was our first stay at an Iberostar resort after visiting more than 10 all-inclusive resorts over the years, typically with Dreams properties. For the price, Delmar is an outstanding value, and after this experience, we will definitely be booking Iberostar resorts again in the future.
The standout feature of this resort is the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating—some of the best service we've experienced at any resort. The entertainment team was fantastic, especially Alex and Rodrigo, who worked tirelessly to get guests involved and keep the energy high throughout the day.
The food was consistently good, and we always found plenty of delicious options. Restaurant service varied somewhat depending on the venue. We received excellent service at the Smokehouse and Mediterranean restaurants, while the Mexican and French restaurants were a bit less consistent. That said, we've found this to be fairly typical at most all-inclusive resorts.
The pools were absolutely incredible—easily the best we've seen. They were spacious, clean, and refreshing. There are two swim-up bars, one in the main pool and another in the activities pool, which are conveniently located next to each other. We spent most of our time at the main pool, where Ricardo and Francisco provided exceptional service. They quickly learned our favorite drinks and always made us feel welcome.
Unfortunately, the beach was heavily affected by seaweed during our stay, making the ocean largely unusable. The staff worked around the clock trying to keep the beach clean, but the volume of seaweed was simply overwhelming. Despite that, we still enjoyed spending time on the beach, relaxing on loungers, enjoying drinks, grabbing food from the grill, and listening to the waves. The odor from the seaweed was generally manageable and seemed most noticeable when cleanup efforts were underway.
Another highlight was the abundance of wildlife around the resort. The coatis were entertaining to watch—although they'll definitely try to steal your food if given the chance!
Overall, our family of four thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this vacation. It's rare that I leave a resort without being able to think of at least one negative, but honestly, I can't come up with any. Delmar exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, family-friendly all-inclusive getaway.

Unforgettable!
Impeccable hotel, we stayed for 15 days in June 2026, the welcome and check-in were top-notch! Very clean hotel, all the staff are attentive, smiling, and very kind the food is very varied and of very good quality thanks to Octavio, the chef, who also speaks French very well, with many restaurants and snacks at your disposal thanks to Sucel for her welcome and her French, and a big thank you to all the hotel staff. Finally, the best part is all these animals roaming freely in the hotel, a wonder. I hope I haven't forgotten anything since our stay was very good; I recommend this destination with my eyes closed.

The positives: We went in low season so there were fewer people which was nice. There were many pools and it's very lush with lots of "wildlife". The buffet for breakfast was fairly good and dinner (we ate there once) was good but not enough variety/change at the lunch buffet. The staff was mostly friendly and helpful.
The negatives: The beds are rock hard and although the room staff tried to help us, they didn't have the proper resources (foam mattress pads) to help make them more comfortable. I got very sick from the food/drinks on the third day so couldn't enjoy the food the remainer of our stay. I picked up parasites requiring medication and am still not well. It is a huge property so if you can't walk a lot, this isn't the resort for you. There were two (of the best restaurants - Italian and American) closed which was disappointing. A/C is not great in the rooms and the buffets don't have A/C which is difficult in the hot/humid seasons. Even though you say NO to the time share presentation, they continue to hassle you!
