Awful experience
Our guest room was dirty. Cobwebs in the lamps. Stained and torn fabrics, in general the linens were old and worn, bath tiles cracked, facilities in general run down, and given the standard room rate, shockingly overpriced. Food mediocre at best, and that’s being kind. Left after one night. Do not go here.

We left very disappointed.
The experience leaves plenty to be desired, cold pool without heating, rooms full of insects and bad and flavorless food.
If you want to have a weekend to enjoy and relax, I don’t think it’s the hotel you’re looking for.
Prices are very high per night for what you actually offer.
If it’s a cloudy day, with air or rain, you can guarantee total boredom.
The furniture of the amenities are dirty and neglected.
It is intended to be a 5-star hotel, however it is not, everything is intended.
The size of the rooms and the decor could help them in the future to reverse the situation, as they are cute rooms but not being sealed, it is as if you are outdoors.
With the service of the staff, there are no comments, it was neither good nor bad, however I insist that they are not qualified to be a hotel that charges such rates, nor uniform had. Although I have to admit to the waiter that he was extremely kind, out there, normal.
The food was very gray, to my pasta I had to put the habanero sauce they give you with the bread because it did not have any flavor.
Throughout the night we were dedicated to crushing spiders throughout the room. This caused us to have an ant plague later.
This was discussed to the management and we were refunded for one of the two nights we had paid.
In short, hotel with intention without good execution.

Dismal attention, zero interest in the client
We did not stay at the Hotel Club de Patos due to poor staff. We asked about the restaurant and, although it was only for guests, the response was cutting and unprofessional, with no effort to guide or attend.
The deal was enough to rule out the hotel immediately. Such a first impression makes clear the level of service that can be expected.

Details count
The difference between good and excellent is in the details. And, at least for the price we paid for the room, the lack of attention to detail kept surprising us.
First of all, the architecture of the hotel is very nice, the rooms are spacious and the privacy they provide is extraordinary. We had the beach all to ourselves for a full day as there were only 3 of 9 rooms occupied throughout the hotel.
That said, clearly don't fumigate the hotel. We had many types of bugs in the room including an arachran, spiders and something that looked like a beetle, but we never knew it was. The insect repellent provided by the hotel, did not work for us, at least in our case, anyway we were victims of countless mosquitoes particularly around the pool.
The windows and doors of the rooms, although they look very cute, are not functional, do not seal well and out there many insects and light are put. So if you need total darkness to sleep, wear a brace, otherwise you're going to wake up very early. And the sliding doors for the ocean view terrace have a hard time opening and closing them, some of the mechanism was not working properly. Maintenance of some areas leaves much to be desired.
Decent food, nothing spectacular.
The other thing we were given a bad detail, there was no towel (pool or shower in the room) or gowns and most napkins that was not stained, frayed or even broken. Clearly it is something they have not invested in for some months and that seems to us an unacceptable detail in hotel of this price level.
Another of the details that we also noticed is that the bar was not well stocked, some of the beers and drinks we ordered ran out or simply did not have them, but at least during our stay they were not able to refill correctly.
The hotel staff is very friendly but the service is mostly slow. And one of our days at the beach we asked three different people in a period of about four hours to lend us the hotel padelbords, they never took us. But it's one of the areas where you realize the lack of attention to detail.
The hotel has a pool table. Same one we used and had a very nice time playing. In this sense, I think the lighting is slightly insufficient and makes it a little more difficult to play, but we were not in a tournament either.
Finally the late check-out service, which we no longer use, became very expensive. I can understand them charging you when they have a higher occupation. But with 1/3 of the occupation...
Each defines what is important to one and for what things one is willing to pay extra. In the case of Duck Club, privacy was that extra, but it also came at the cost of inattention to detail and that will make at least us not return to this hotel in a long time and definitely not for these prices.

They charged me a fee of 2,500 pesos for the third person in the room and when I made the reservation the room stated that it was for 4 people. The room wasn’t in good repair , a piece of the window was misssing and the sun light came in early waking us up !
