Excellent buffet service
Chef Juan has been incredibly kind and generous during his service for the buffet at Festival at Blue Bay! I enjoy talking to him a lot!

Iv been to several all inclusive properties in a few countries, BB is by far the absolute most aggressive in selling their timeshare ..rebranded as vacation club. We said no to attending and our “ concierge “ said we would be helping him out with commissions etc and it was not a timeshare, and it would only be 90 minutes so being nice we set up for 9am the next day, this sales pitch went on for 4 hours even after telling them no, then they amp up their aggression and wanted us to buy into almost 20$k with a 1700$ payment immediately in which the sales guy said and I quote “ 1650$usd is nothing to you , I travel in pesos and I can do that” . We eventually had to become angry and rude in which I said to him “ I’m done and we are walking out this door”. Make no mistake, ur nobody to them if you say no.
The lobby has no AC and no fans, it is a literal hell on earth with heat, we felt sorry for the staff working in there. The staff ( minus the sales staff) was very kind very polite and helpful. This property is enormous and you will wait 25/30 minutes for golfcart ppl to come around , and they do their best but on 2 golfcarts running for the entire property. It is a 25/30 min walk from the back buildings and pool to the lobby and to buildings serving dinner.
The food was good and food staff were excellent. Also be ready for all kinds of animals, snakes , coati, raccoons, massive iguanas.
We won’t be returning.

No swim up pool bar terrible customer service this is not a 4 star resort but even for how cheap it is we will never go back

This fell shirt if uts 5* rating.
Small things like poor quality of towles, no ice cream and entertainment programe at night was minimum. This should be a good 4* rated hotel.

Wonderful Vacation
We had a wonderful vacation at the Coralia Bluebay Grand Esmeralda club. I do not understand the previous negative review, and strangely, I do not feel like I went to the same hotel.
We were there from May 6 to May 19. We always found lounge chairs in the shade; the entertainment was present but not overwhelming. There were indeed bottles of tequila to win, but no one asked us to leave a review, and no one took our phone. We are also used to traveling, and we liked this hotel; the beach is decent with umbrellas (we are not VIP), certainly the sargassum invades the shoreline, but it is everywhere in the Caribbean.
The rooms are aging but clean; the fridge and coffee are replenished every day. The meals are decent, and we never had to wait in line, just disappointed with the desserts; I would have liked to have fruits at lunch and dinner, but for your information, you just need to ask the server (I learned this at the end of the stay).
The staff is very kind and smiling even if we do not give tips. Small electric shuttles take you from one end of the hotel to the other; there are 5 à la carte restaurants that I liked, a little less the Mexican one, the cocktails are good.
My opinion now on the Coralia club, a great team led by a very professional manager. The excursions are very well organized. The white parties among the French are great, and we had a lot of fun.
Manu, Luis, Marie, Dami, and Luz, you made our vacation wonderful. Thank you all
