A wonderful place with wonderful staff!

Me and my wife stayed here for 2 wonderful days! Felipe, (the Manager) was very nice and helpful! Edwin was a terrific server. The food was great and so was the room! The hotel housekeeper was very nice and so appreciative when we left a tip! Her name is Soccora! The view cannot be beat! The price was very low for the great quality of the hotel. Thanks Felipe, Edwin, Socora and staff! Hasta Pronto!

Great Breakfast every time...

I love this place for breakfast.. The huevos divorciados are excellent although my favourite is the chile relleno which they happily serve me in the morning. With a glass of fresh orange juice it is a great way to start the day.. Ask for the home hot sauce on the side. Cool garden and patio and friendly sevice make this a favourite in the area.

Great place to eat

We took a RZR ride from Los Barilles to the beach town of El Cardonal. Stopped and had lunch, the service was awesome, food n drink were great! Checked out the rooms and pool. Well maintained property.

Fishing and peace

We recently stayed at the simple yet lovely 6 room 6 5 year old hotel in El Cardinal. The room was nice, clean and had terrific view from its sweet little patio. Everyone associated with hotel was incredibly nice and helpful. The pool area was very peaceful and pleasant. My two frenchies and I had it to ourselves for a whole week while my husband fished. The nights were incredble, clear and more stars visable than I have seen in twenty years. The room cost was in mid double digits—and though this is no Four Seasons, it was comfortably rustic and met more than all our needs. They also have a simple Mexican restaurant where many expats can be found grabbing lunch or dinner. We are already planning our next trip.

The best of Mexico!

This small, family owned hotel is situated in a small town, El Cardonal. The entire hotel only consists of five rooms, and a restaurant. It is kept meticulously clean, and the rooms come with a small refrigerator, microwave, and kitchen area. Just make sure you ask for a room with a sea view. The staff at this hotel could not be more friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. You have only a few minutes walk to the beach! The restaurant is very good, with a good selection. You can't go wrong with the exceptional price for the rooms!
