A beautiful location near the heart of Oaxaca

We loved the large Red Queen room and the upstairs rooftop terrace was great. My wife got a bad cough and cold while there and the Owner was extremely helpful - bringing her tea and honey, snacks, etc. We enjoyed the location - a few blocks from the heart of Oaxaca. The art was beautiful, the rooms were very clean, and the location felt safe. The owner provided lots of tips for sightseeing and helped us with at taxi to the airport when we left.

Place to go!

We so enjoyed Larimar. Very well designed with plants, color and creative use of natural light. Room was enjoyable and comfortable. Much nicer than the more expensive hotels we stayed in Oaxaca. The art was a plus and great idea.

Great location near historic center and wonderful staff

We visited Oaxaca for Día de los Muertos and chose this hotel for its proximity to the historic center. It was a great choice because we could easily walk to all the major tourist spots like churches, markets, and parks. It was really easy to just walk wherever we needed to, and it was very safe to do so.
The hotel itself is small and delightful. It has a few rooms, each with their own theme. The were very comfortable and fairly large, with very nice decor and always clean. There's also a nice rooftop terrace which is great for relaxing, taking in the views, and parade watching. My only minor issue is that the rooms are next to the street and it can get a bit noisy, especially during the celebrations.
We didn't try the hotel food, but the menu looked very good. We decided to eat out every day because there's so much to choose from nearby! The staff was excellent and very attentive. They were very helpful to us.
Overall, this was a great choice to stay in Oaxaca. It's not the cheapest, but the location and quality is really an excellent value.

Very central and beautiful

Excellent accommodation option very well located, close to the most touristic places of Oaxaca. I stayed 2 nights 3 days and everything seemed super good

Excellent!

It is a very nice boutique hotel. If you like art, it's a perfect place.
Nice rooms. Manager Dulce Maria super aware of your needs. They have a terrace with nice view and you take your breakfast so nice! It is also super central, two blocks from Santo Domingo.
