Bad experience avoid this hotel
Avoid this hotel at all costs. This was one of the worst hotel experiences of my life.
The room looked absolutely nothing like the photos advertised online. It was old, extremely dirty, poorly maintained, and we even found cockroaches inside the room. I’ve attached photos so everyone can see the real condition of this place.
The refrigerator was so filthy that it was disgusting to even open it, let alone store food inside. There were exposed electrical wires in the room, creating a serious safety hazard, especially for families traveling with young children. There was no microwave in the room, and the TV wasn’t even properly connected.
I was traveling with my 18-month-old daughter and brought homemade food because she follows a special diet. We simply asked the restaurant staff to warm up her food for a few seconds. Both the restaurant staff and the hotel management refused. It was obvious they cared more about forcing guests to buy food from the restaurant than helping a toddler. That complete lack of compassion and basic customer service was honestly the most upsetting part of our stay.
The swimming pool was also dirty and did not look clean or safe to use.
This hotel is dirty, outdated, poorly maintained, and provides terrible customer service. The photos are misleading, and the reality is completely different. If you care about cleanliness, safety, or you’re traveling with children, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. This hotel does not deserve your money.
This hotel had bed bugs. I woke up with more than 10 bites all over my legs after sleeping in the room. I have photos documenting the bites and the evidence from my stay. The itching and pain lasted for days and completely ruined my vacation. This was unacceptable, and I strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to think twice until the problem is properly addressed.

I was directed to their "sister" hotel around the corner and given a sub-standard room. The a/c worked well and the direct access to the beach remained however, something seemed completely off about being directed.
The loaner /backup room down the street was no where near the quality displayed for the original room LEADING ME TO BELIEVE that the original room at "Ojo De Agua" was a false to begin with.
Beware of this potential scam.

Other than that the staff is wonderful, nice and accommodating. The beach is beautiful and just steps away so makes up for the room.
I heard this part of the hotel is going to be ripped down and added to the newer part beside it.
