very nice place to relax

nice and comfortable room.. receptionists were also very friendly although they could not speak english. i had problem in AC at 4 am in morning which a lady at reception fixed it by just changing the remote.. location is also quite good..

Average quality hotel

Simple, very closed rooms, for the price let's say it's good.
The attention from the staff is acceptable (very much could be improved without a doubt but acceptable),
The location is very good .
The bad thing is the limited parking.
The rates are low on weekends at any time of the year, I think it works as a motel on weekends, it's just my perception.

Barebones, customer unfriendly sort of dump

Their listing says staff speak English. No they don't-it's a lie-the evening and the morning front desk staff spoke none and were a bit rude. The parking was free and on site but almost impossible to get into the spot-luckily I had a small SUV. It is difficult place to find even with GPS. The bedding was thin-essentially no cover. And naturally, the wifi didn't work at all-I was driving from town to town to get from the US to Belize across Mexico and thus didn't have data driving and needed to check e-mails-luckily I was only there to try to sleep. I e-mailed them twice after I left to check on an item I may have left and wrote it in Spanish-no response at all as expected-after all, this is Mexico, a 3rd world country.

No Flexibility at all.

The Hotel in itself is basically okay for a budget hotel but the reception staff are very inflexible and I really hope the management see this and put them wise as to what they can do. We had just arrived by Bus into Tampico and urgently needed to contact someone nearby, a local call, and asked the girl behind the counter if she could call them. She said she was not authorized to do so! What? A local call for a customer? That is very wrong. Checkout time us 12pm and we appreciate how hotels work. We were being picked up at 1pm and I asked if we could stay in the room until 12:45. Again, no flexibility. She said 'checkout time is 12pm' pointing at the time. She clearly had no discretion and must have known the hotel was virtually empty. Again, the manager or owner needs to recognise and accept that reviews like these are not conducive to a positive image for their business.

No lo recomendaría

No hay respiración natural porqué no hay ventanas y por lo mismo el olor no es muy agradable, mala calidad de las almohadas , sábanas percudidas al igual que las fundas, no da confianza dormir, las toallas rotas y percudidas, no me dio nada de confianza usarlas, la colcha vieja.
