The hotel itself was nice. Our room (#2) had a good view of the street. Unfortunately we didn't have a large balcony, but the doors opened into the street which was nice. The wifi was not super reliable at times, but was still decent. At times I noticed the smell of the plumbing, which only seemed to flare up during the morning, so we'd close the bathroom door. Other than that the area was very quiet and staff was very courteous. Free coffee, toast, and other pastries were served in the morning which was great. Location-wise in La Condesa too was great - very walkable to everything else around. Lovely area.

Clean, quiet, great location

Distrito Condesa gets five stars for the important things in a moderate-cost B&B: clean, quiet, location, service. We got in late, so Fernando had arranged to meet & check us in (pay in full on arrival). He recommended a good taqueria/bar nearby and left us to it. What a nice man, and we realized later how much it helped to have a fluent English-speaker getting us started in Mexico City. Two water bottles in the room, limitless filtered-water refills in the kitchen; hot showers with ample pressure. Breakfast was good coffee and some pastries we didn't try - we wanted tacos!
Now, if you need a lodging with all the features of a modern timeshare unit, this isn't it. The layout is best described as quirky. Our rooms had no exterior windows, and the bathrooms have been put together over the years like your grandmother's summer house. But: clean linens, clean floors, residential area near Condesa's lovely parks and restaurants, easy access to food stands and the subway, and five-minute response every time we summoned Uber. I'd definitely stay here again!

Great stay. Central to all everything. No onsite staff, but the room was cleaned each day when we returned. Quiet and clean.

I travel for tourism

I had already been a few years ago and I had a good time, now that I returned I felt better, the hotel has a reception present for every detail, information and more, it is located in a strategic area of the Condesa, and from there you can easily reach all the tourist places you want to visit, there are many ubers to get around, the area is full of places to eat and drink and also different cuisines in addition to the famous Mexican, I have always found the hotel very clean.
