A very beautiful discovery in Tulum!
We had an excellent stay at Layla. The hotel is magnificent, with Moroccan-inspired decor that is different from what is usually seen in Tulum. The atmosphere is warm, soothing, and full of charm.
The room was comfortable, very clean, and tastefully decorated. We also greatly appreciated the pool and the common areas, perfect for relaxing.
Special mention to the entire team, always smiling, welcoming, and attentive. We truly felt at ease throughout our stay.
The location is ideal for enjoying Tulum on foot while remaining in a quiet place.
We recommend it without hesitation and will gladly return!

Tulum Centro
We visited Tulum for a couple days and decided to stay in town instead of the beach area. We stayed in Layla, a very small boutique hotel.
Layla is very nice and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, especially Kat. We got there early and our room was not ready yet. We were hungry, after a long flight, and she recommended a local taco place within walking distance from the hotel, and it did not disappoint. She was full of recommendations. Everyone was very helpful.
We wanted to walk around the little town and have dinner and drinks, again, Kat gave us some good recommendations.
If we ever go back to Tulum, we’d definitely stay here again.

Just about okay
The hotel rooms were nice, the Moroccan themed property is pretty cute and the location is very convenient; however, rooms were rather small, though with a pretty good bathroom.
They had breakfast included but that was very poor quality food and didn’t seem very fresh. Price was ok, but not very economical, given the overall quality of the place.
All in all, I would say this hotel is just about ok .., I am sure you can find better places.

Perfect Stay with Incredible Sunset Views
We had an amazing stay at Layla Hotel! The atmosphere is beautiful, with a relaxing Mediterranean vibe that makes you feel like you’re on a luxury getaway. The rooftop pool is definitely one of the best in downtown Tulum, especially at sunset—the views are absolutely stunning.
The food and drinks were excellent. The hummus was fresh and delicious, and every cocktail we tried was perfectly made. On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed.
If you’re looking for a stylish hotel with great food, amazing sunset views, and exceptional service, Layla is the perfect place to stay.
