The hotel has the best time long behind it
If you are looking for an adventure holiday, this is the place for you. However, if you just want a functioning hotel room, you probably don't.
The refrigerator develops an impressive soundscape somewhere between the starting diesel engine and the airport tarmac. Turn it off? Misrepresentation. Pull the plug? Also impossible. Sleeping thus becomes an optional leisure activity.
The next highlight is waiting in the bathroom: The radiator no longer works and seems to have been expertly “repaired” with a screw. Probably according to the motto: “It’s kind of holding.” The plaster trickles from the ceiling because of water damage — free snow effect included.
The shower head distributes the water generously throughout the bathroom instead of just to the guest. After showering, the room feels more like an adventure bath.
As a small safety extra, the socket on the TV still lacks the cover. Tension until the end.
The breakfast then put the crown on it: Unfortunately, the coffee tasted as if the coffee machine had made an intensive acquaintance with the detergent shortly before.
One really wonders how a room like this can be rented out at all. For a hotel this was unfortunately more “Lost Place with breakfast option”.

No air con, no shower door; no elevator; poor service
The problem with that is in the summer, the days are hot and the heat builds up in the rooms, so when we came back at the end of the day looking to rest, it was a bit uncomfortable.
Then at night, when they claim it would be cool to sleep, we had to leave the balcony door wide open all night to let the cool air in just to make it tolerable.
Second problem was the shower has no door, so there was a big pool of water in the bathroom after each shower.
Oh also, the hotel has no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs. (We were at least lucky that we were on a tour which had a guide who did that for us, but he could not eliminate the other problems.
The hotel claims online to have modernized, but modernized should mean air con and a simple door on the shower.
I would have at least expected them to have given us a fan when we asked , but they said they do not provide any.
And when we asked on the second day for more towels because we wanted to be prepared for the mess the next shower would bring, they were stingy on that too.
I did not eat at its restaurant but did walk through its free breakfast and after looking at it, I just said no.

Good location, but not recommended

Difficult access…only series of steps, no lift, no help
Rooms ok, but no lift so again access an issue.
Pleasant terraced outdoor seating area to enjoy a drink but served by the most miserable staff.
Could be so much better with a little thought when constructed. Would not recommend.

Only if there is no choice
No air conditioning, so not recommended in hot months.
Great location right in the center.
Dirty breakfast.
In this area, it is better to sleep in the bed.
