Fabulous 10 Days Stay.

Absolutely amazing.
Every member of staff was so friendly and helpful. I'd emailed before we travelled explaining it was my partner's 60th birthday during our stay; they decorated our room, left a bottle of wine and a cake for him. It was my birthday a few days later and they brought me a cake at breakfast, completely unexpected and without my partner mentioning it was my birthday. That level of attention to guests is outstanding.
Breakfast was brilliant, lots of fresh cakes, pastries, fruit, bread etc. Love that they let the little birds fly around, I loved watching them. All the food was covered.
Room was basic but very clean, no kettle but a little coffee machine that water could be heated in, good selection of tea and coffee.
Pool and grounds are immaculate, plenty of loungers and lounge beds with curtains for privacy. Straight on to Shell Beach from the pool area.
The ONLY gripe, and it's a small one, is that bottled water is 1€ to take to your room but 3€ beside the pool or in the bar.
The snack menu was lovely too.
A 15 minute walk to Santa Maria or 5€ in a taxi.
Unfortunately, an awful lot of building work in the area so my advice is enjoy this gem of a place before all the new builds swamp it.

Tranquility, comfort and hospitality

The hotel is set within a 10-minute walk from the city center. Quiet place, for us it was a conscious choice to stay away from the crowds. Nice location too, so right on the coast. Very friendly staff, they really do everything to make you feel at home. We had booked a room on the street side. When we indicated that we would prefer a room with sea view, this was quickly arranged. The fact that we had to pay extra for this (a small amount, by the way) made perfect sense. Spacious and neat room, comfortable beds and great sanitary facilities. Good breakfast, lots of choice of toppings, bread, fruit and cakes (sweet and savoury). Nice pool with plenty of sunbeds. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay here.

Tranquility

Buddha Beach is a lovely tranquil spot off the beaten track from the main resort of Santa Maria, within walking distance that isn’t too far and taxi is only 5€ is you required. Breakfast consists of fruit , sweet and savoury treats along with 4 items from the kitchen that can be made to order. I recommend the island tour booking through the hotel, such good value for money and you get a good chunk of info and sights of the island!
Food in the restaurant is good for lunch and dinner and prices are what you’d expect for a hotel, of course you can get it cheaper in resort.
Staff were always so polite and pleasant, hotel manager always smiling and approachable.

Chilled, zen hotel

This is a lovely little hotel. Very zen with the various Buddha statues and double day beds.
Marina, the hotel manager is very accommodating and so helpful. Huge shout outs to Wesley and Mileidy on breakfast. A bonus for me was the adorable little sparrows flitting in and out of the restaurant.
Imdira on dinners was also lovely.
The pool was a little cold for most but I personally enjoyed the cooler temperature.

Beautiful

We stayed at this hotel for 6 days, and there is absolutely nothing to complain about.
The staff is incredibly kind and always available to help, especially Rodrigo.
The food was always delicious, especially the carpaccio and the tuna tartare, the best we have ever tried.
The rooms were always clean, and the pool was not only beautifully located with an amazing view, but also very well maintained.
It’s also worth mentioning that the reception is open 24/7, and there are multiple security staff members throughout the hotel, even at night.
