Weekend stay in tranquil Nature with added sea front attractions

Great place to stop off and relax , friendly management no wories attitude and all as expected ... Hoping to return shortly. We stayed from Thursday to Friday and culd have stayed longer , bit having loaned the dog to friends we had to return.. We hope to take all 4 hytter in August for a family reunion . Looking forward tor eturning :-)

Uninhabitable place

All information about the place and reviews do not correspond to reality. I have pictures that show that this place looks like a garbage dump for obsolete piers, boat hulls and building materials with nails sticking out of planks lying on the ground right by the entrance. We could not stay overnight here, absolutely horrible.

Authentic Norwegian Fjord Experience

We booked three nights here and got cabin #3. And the reviews are right: the cabins are a bit worn and basic and the towels and linen have probably seen their best days. But that is more than compensated by the unique location directly on the waterfront. We used the boat with the outboard every day to go cruising down the fjord or go fishing and what a joy that was! We drank a glass of wine every day on the deck in front of our cabin and enjoyed our own fish that we caught the same day for dinner. Paul is a great host and he will look after you. If you are looking for an impeccable cabin then don't go for this one; if you would like to experience the authenticity of the Norwegian fjord life and love to fish and explore the waterways yourself then it doesn't get any better than this!

Needs some TLC and smells

The view and the location of these 4 cottages is great, the owners friendly and quick in their reply and will do anything to make your stay pleasant. You don't need much in these kind of accomodations but this place needs an update. Ours (nr 4) smelled like there used to live a heavy smoker. There is no sign that smoking is not allowed, so be warned! Difficult to get rid of in a wooden house I guess. After 2 days all our cloths smelled.
Besides this the place needs some tender love and care. Linnen with holes in it, messy, everything is old and worn down, for 100euro a night you would expect a little more. The kitchen is well equiped, the wifi works very well and there is always that stunning view! Supermarket a 10 min drive.

good but found some insects

the location is fantastic and the cottages are really nice.the issue we had is we spotted several insects in the kitchen.This needs to be improved.Otherwise the location and property is recommended and very good for the price
