Business trip

thank you for hosting our staff, you went out of your way to help, we never know what will happen, so accommodation is where we rely on the hosts to understand if we book in later than normal as our guys are always busy.

Excellent Hostess

Excellent hostess. Lovely comfortable room with self serving breakfast in a spacious relaxing area with a balcony and a nice view. Safe parking behind locked gate.

Secluded venue away from the buzz

This is a nice location for that breakaway from the city rush.
The view from the dining room on the wetland was awesome.
The owners were friendly and made sure everything you need is in its place.
I enjoyed the TV, kettle, fridge in my room.
Coffee, tea, milk, sugar are provided.
Free WIFI is available and safe parking for your car.
What I didn’t liked!
It is like staying at a boarding house.
It is a long drive to the nearest convenience store. You need to have your own transport when you stay at this place.

A pleasant stay as always

My go to place to stay in Milnerton Quiet away from the more busy areas but still conveniently situated. Nice clean room easy but safe access. Close to the Pasdocks Shopping Center and a lot of local eateries.

Impossible circumstances

a direct payment of 695 Rand was required. I had left the room at 7:30 in a tidy state, nothing was lying on the floor. When I came back at 8:50, the door was open and the duvets and pillows were scattered on the floor. I didn't understand the reason, because I had paid for 2 nights in advance and only spent one night there. Check-out wouldn't have been until 10:00 anyway. When I asked if I could move into the new room or at least stay in the old one until 10:00 until the new room was unavailable, I was shouted at and thrown out. I was refused a stay and refused to pay back the money. The owner apologized for his wife's behavior. The woman was very unfriendly and behaved radically overall. She had already been rude and quite annoyed the day before. The accommodation is a private family home, where the owners rent out the upper floor to guests. The woman is very territorial and wants to control everything. You have to park your car to the exact centimeter because there is so little space. Everything is quite inconvenient. The spiral staircase that leads to the upper rooms is very narrow and steep. That was very unpleasant. The towels smelled disgusting, unwashed or on a low cycle. The bed linen was OK, though. Luckily I had my own towels with me. Later I saw that the owner had scattered the towels on the stairs, on the floor. Unbelievable!
You have to make your own breakfast and wash up too. There wasn't much, the selection was very poor and the cheese was rotten. But there was fresh fruit, which was good.
It was very cold in the house, but that's normal in the South African winter. I can't recommend this place under any circumstances. There are much better places to stay. I often stay in this area because my mother-in-law lives in a retirement home in Table View.
What happened in the accommodation was really unacceptable. I have an audio recording of the eviction, which I will play to a lawyer and then hopefully I will get my money back for the second night, which was already paid for but did not take place.
