Very comfortable stay

We loved our stay at Kleinfontein. Our hosts went out of their way to assist us and make us feel welcome. We stayed in the double cabin which had everything we needed including an indoor fire and outdoor braai pit. Would recommend for couples!

Best tent sleep over ever

Nico was extremely helpful when we arrived. The place is clean, well equipped and the setting stunning. Money well spent would love to visit again
Safe area, easy access quiet and peaceful with lovely trails

Mountain hut wonder

Our rustic hut had everything we needed. The barbecue setting close to a massive rock setting was amazing, no light pollution so the stars were extra bright ! The next morning we had a stunning easy walk amongst the spectacular rock formations as the sunrise presented wonderful photo opportunities. Needs another visit to explore more !

Lovely hosts, but....

We were 2 couples in part of a building near the family home. The furniture was described as "family heirlooms", and so it was - 1930s to 1950s and uncomfortable. The lights were too low voltage, and kitchen and dining equipment was spartan to put it mildly, and not really fit for purpose. The wifi worked - hooray! The braai area outside looked superb, built into a rock face. And we went for a wonderful walk through the farm and up - this was a major redeeming feature, and we wanted to walk further but ran out of time. I think our lovely hosts need to make an investment into their building accommodation which was disappointing, as otherwise the setting is superb.

Cederburg Treasure

We decided to stay 2 nights in the Cederberg on route back to Jhb. We absolutely loved our luxury tent house which had everything we needed with the most spectacular view of the enchanting red rocks. It was peaceful and our host Nico was friendly helpful and he gave us suggestions of what to do with our one day in the Cederberg. It is scorching hot but we could cool down at Travellers and Rugged Rocks Winery. Fabulous friendly people all round. Would love to go back.
