Neat.

Were kindly received. Room and bath room is neat and clean. Has a swimming pool. Located on the beach. (may not swim there) from the beach to the center is about 45 walk. Breakfast is good.

Extremelly disappiinting

On arrival, nobody expected any guests arriving, property was in despicable state, renovations on the way and smell of paint was overwhelming. 6 people of the group found the condition so unbearable that they left and found alternative accommodation elsewhere.
This is certainly not what I would expected from the property which is supposed to be rated as 4 star and herewith I was requesting refund for the unused rooms. Owners Ashwin and Rita were first unavailable, then after numerous calls and e-mail promised refund by end of business day but it was never paid. They are since hiding and blocked my number on their cell. These seems to be fairly new owners so previous good reviews might be from previous owners.
I would strongly discourage travellers from using Zeranka Lodge and have photos and witnesses to substantiate my complaint.

Terrible establishment

This is certainly not what I would expected from the property which is supposed to be rated as 4 star and herewith I was requesting refund for unused rooms.
I was requesting refund from owners Ashwin and Rita, which they promised to do by end of business day but then never paid it, then were unavailable and eventually blocked my number.

Not recommended

The rooms are dingy and everything didn't feel very fresh. The swimming pool was dirty and the lounge sofas under the canopy could not be used by the guests because the entire owner's family was sitting on them. We arrived a bit early and, rightly so, were unable to get into our rooms yet. We were allowed to use a toilet in another part of the Lodge. Possibly private? There was also a pair of dirty underpants on the floor. In short, not recommended. Location also far from restaurants.
The photos on the Lodge's website give an incorrect impression of the current state of the complex

Spent a short, but excellent night in this lovely lodge!

Even though we arrived a bit early at the lodge, we were warmly welcomed! We got a beautiful room in black and white called Kingfisher. Lovely bed, good air conditioning, separate small kitchen and bathroom with bath. And super clean! Because we had to leave early the next morning to catch the domestic flight, a breakfast was prepared in our room, which we could take with us and eat at leisure after airport security! Many thanks for the hospitality! We can highly recommend this lodge! Only 20 minutes from the airport! We can't think of anything negative, but what would be nice are mosquito screens on the windows and a new shower hose. Good luck!
