Good Night Stop

This review is relatively objective being my 20th road trip, this year staying at 17 properties over a 43 night period.
I stayed solo for one night in April.
Easily found just off the main road, with parking directly outside the room, which faced the main road.
Pleasant staff throughout.
Modern room in a terraced row was large enough, well equipped, clean and comfortable with good quality bed linen and towels. Very little road noise apart from early morning. However, rain does produce an amount of roof noise. Braai on the front terrace.
Restaurant on site produced good food at decent/competitive prices. Excellent breakfast.
A good alternative to staying in Clarens just down the road and with the Golden Gate National Park on the doorstep.

Great value, good accommodation

A very good accommodation. Room and bathroom is very specious, clean and equipped with all necessary items, could not ask for anything more. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Provided water, coffee, tea, soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc. there is a fireplace in the room and heated blanket. a portable room heater would be better as it is very cold in the bathroom. complementary breakfast was good. Very nice property & cafe. Check in & check out was efficient. It’s a good stay.

Such welcoming amenities.

What a beautiful spot in a lovely setting.Well stocked with such surprising amenities and a quaint accommodation.Very clean,warm water in abundance and five star breakfast included.They supply wood for the fire as well as bottled water,milk,tea,coffee and sherry to boot.

Thank you Willow Manor in Clarens!

At the last minute we decided that a road trip would be amazing, and we found accommodation at Willow Manor. While the accommodation is close to the road, it is just outside the Golden Gate National Par, so it was quiet with beautiful views and we even managed to climb a mountain. I have to commend Martie and Rosemary for going out of their way to make us feel welcome. The accommodation was so clean and well looked after. It had everything one could need from a fireplace inside and out to a hairdryer diffuser, scissors and all the little touches like enough milk for coffee, a tot of sherry, rusks and just attention to details. The shower had good pressure, the bedding was good. We really were so comfortable and the breakfast was good too. Thank you.

Wedding anniversary

We came all the way from Secunda to stay out of town to enjoy a bit of silence and get some sanity. What a pleasure it was to stay at your venue. I requested oxtail and sweet potatoes for dinner (my wife's favourite dish), and everything was perfect!!!!! What a way to surprise and spoil my wife. Also, the extras (rose petals on the bed and in the bath) are all greatly appreciated!!
Your breakfasts are something to be remembered. We lived like royalty.
Our stay has been a memorable one, and we will be back for sure.
Thank you for your hospitality and friendliness.
