Delightful Find good value very comfy

early evening after an 8 hour drive we discovered this gem. Extremely helpful staff with very comfortable and spacious accommodation for a VERY reasonable price. Lovely simple dinner and an absolutely 5 star breakfast. All very home made. Everything attention to detail and nothing too much to ask. We will be back. The name .....
EK KAN EK SAL backwards .... Laske Nakke. Heaters & lovely bathroom with shower we had single room chalet with double bed. Front seating area not very private but we were only overnight . Not ultra modern boutique. Just solid comfy cottages. Would give all ratings 4/5 but rating box will not click

Bad experience

Im sure it is a nice place. But we had a breakdown where we needed to replace a universal joint on our vehicle, and when we asked if we could do our repairs and also make use of their facilities, we were told very snobbily that we need to hurry up and do it quickly. Which actually tells me that firtsly the service is BAD, because being in a SERVICE INDUSTRY, we are supposed to help anyone that comes our way and in turn, the rest of us could make use of the rest rooms, have a cold beer, and the story would have been told to ALL our friends and family, but INSTEAD, we werent actually welcome and were greeted with a nose in the air attitude. We couldnt wait to move on and rather get out of the way.
Wont return again.

Unfortunately because we are a lodge we do not allow workshop type repairs on our premises.

Good enough

Self catering unit was beautiful and well equipped. Pillows were terrible. Daily rate is reasonable with breakfast included. Had a look at the restaurant menu and was a bit over priced for our taste. Breakfast was perfectly prepared. I will recommend this accommodation.

Beyond expectations and very clean

This lodge is to be found outside Lydenburg town. There are many small houses with spacy accomodation. Rooms were very clean and neat and heaters were on to give a nice indoor temperature in the winter when it is very cold up here.
Breakfast was excellent.
A very priceworthy and safe place to stay. You can also horseride here and the views are spectacular.

Basic but good

We stayed here for a weekend and we got what we needed from our stay. Very basic but good enough. The restaurant was nice enough, food was delicious. Overall it was not bad, probably would not stay there again though.
