What a pleasant stay

I was wonderful to stay at the Blue Horizon Bay Guest house. The rooms are very well kept and clean. The hosts gave us a VERY homely welcome and made us at home away from home. The location is a stones throw away from the beach and offers a great workout walk.

Lovely town in a nature reserve

We booked into this guest house at very short notice after our first choice fell through due to being full. We had a very friendly welcome from Hans and Marlene and they went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay for us. Unfortunately things did not always go according to plan, of which the worst was that their alternative power supply was not working during load-shedding, due to being under maintenance or something. Early on the last morning when I wanted a shower before leaving for home, there was no hot water in the shower, while it was with a huge shock when we found out the previous night that there was no DSTV sport on our room's TV in order to watch the rugby. While our room was neat and clean it was on the small side, and is thus only suitable for short stays, especially overnight while passing through.

Peaceful.

Was clean and very, very peaceful.
We struggled to find accommodation at short notice but we were referred to Blue Horizon bay.
If you're looking for peace and tranquillity, this is the place for you. Rooms are sparsely decorated, with comfortable beds and dressers with a coffee making unit in the room. Breakfast, although not included was an option.
The view from the house is extraordinary - we watched a small pod of whales since dawn up until our departure.
Good stop over for any traveller!

Nice and quiet.

Clean, comfortable accommodations with a hearty breakfast. Very affordable too. The owner and his wife are very attentive and they personally take care of their guests. Not on the beach but very close.

Nice place close to the sea

Very heartful host and welcoming, beautiful view from our room, nice swimming pool, lovey breakfast and great beach! But be aware that there is not much around. Blue Horizon Bay is a safe residental area, not less - not more. We stayed there just one night and enjoyed the silence we wanted to have.
