Great

The staff were so lovely and pleasant to deal with. They also helped with any request needed during the stay. Location is also great with bus stop at the front and just a short 10-15 mins walk into the hustle.

Tiny business hotel

- Room size: super tiny and even smaller than some hotels in Tokyo. Double bed room and Twin room is same size so if you book a twin room like us, then with two beds in this tiny room you absolutely have no room to put your luggage at all. The solution that this hotel can store your suitcase. But there is no drawers or place to put your clothes so how? We end up re arranging the tiny table and tiny sofa around to make a little room to put our 28’ suitcase. I think this hotel is designed for Japanese domestic travellers only who carry a bag to stay for 1 night. It won’t fit at all for foreigners travelling from far with family.
- Cleaning service: ridiculously horrible. The hotel claims that they are using “eco” cleaning methods so only change towels and throw rubbish on the second day but have a proper cleaning on the third day. However, when we are back from third day, we only have a notice like this attachment. Which basically means if you put your PJs on the bed and water bottles on the tiny table like a normal human. They just skip cleaning for a very politically correct reason that they “protect” your personal belonging. How horrible is that. Means all other hotels we stayed so far around the world are offending our privacy by folding PJs and help to organise the table? I am very surprised that they didn’t tick the third box as the bath room doesn’t like to be cleaned at all. It literally means you need to pack all your luggage and put them as far away from bed and table then they don’t have an excuse from cleaning. But with our luggage so big I can’t guarantee it won’t touch the bed.
- Public bath: Horribly tiny. It only have 10-12 lockers without even a chair by the side for changing. 4 seats for blocking hair and 2 with basin. Outside onsen is only 2 round bathtub can fit 1 person each!!! So overall designed for less than 10 people. But this hotel have 20 room in 14 stories, so totally can fit more than 500 people!! If you have so many rooms then you at least need to design these public place can cater a reasonable percentage. Now like 2% chances you can enjoy a decent bath. So we gave up from the second day but shower in the room. It is ok as we visited in the summer so think about if you come in the winter when everyone is badly going to Onsen after a cold day outside…horrible.
- Lounge area provides free drinks but the spaces again is very limited with only wooden chairs and everyone needs to sit together around a big table. It ends at 10pm sharp
In general, this hotel is more like a motel or hostel. Fit for 1 night stay only with late check in and super early check out without the needs to have to experience in depth service. It will never be our option for our next trip to Asahikawa

The room was VERY small but clean. I appreciated that the sink was outside of the toilet/shower area. The size of the trash can was nowhere near large enough for a 4 night stay. Most other hotels provide water bottles or at least access to the water fill station with your own personal bottle. The elevators were too few for the number of guests and rooms occupied. The combined washer and dryer was cool but the dryer did not dry clothes in a reasonable amount of time. Location excellent for day trips…super close to the bus and train stations.

Absolutely terrible customer service. The standard copy and paste reply. Definitely the worst I have experienced in my life time. Choose to be greedy when they could have shown empty and sympathy. Avoid.

The breakfast was great with lots of things to choose from. Suggest to change some of the choices daily.
