We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mystays Fuji. The room was nice, very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was definitely one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. There were so many choices and everything was delicious.
True to its name, the hotel also has an Onsen, which I was looking forward to trying. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to use it because I’m not comfortable being completely naked. I do wish the hotel would allow guests to wear a towel from the dressing room until entering the water, or provide an option for guests who may not feel comfortable being fully nude in the bathing area.
I also wish we had been able to see Mt. Fuji from the hotel, but unfortunately it wasn’t visible during our stay.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend Hotel Mystays Fuji. The cleanliness, comfortable room, and especially the excellent breakfast made it a great experience.

We were only there for one night night as we needed an emergency hotel room after failing to complete Mount Fuji due to weather conditions. The room was very small and the bathroom needed a thorough clean. Smelt very stale and damp. The shower curtain and yellow stained toilet seat could do with replacing. The Aircon situation was frustrating as it’s managed centrally. Not the hotel’s fault but due to its location there are a lot of children. Sadly we were woken up several times in the evening with children running up and down the corridor and even at 12:30 am with a child crying and whingeing outside our room for 45 minutes! You’d think the staff would’ve seen it on camera and come up to investigate what was going on. We didn’t feel comfortable investigating ourselves. We also couldn’t have breakfast there as it was sold out! Very strange.

Great view of Mt. Fuji, love the Onsen, have refrigerator and kettle, clean rooms and free parking + Lawson or 711 just 6 mins walk.

Clean rooms but tiny. Dated bathrooms but you do have the onsen for bathing too. Not tattoo friendly but you can use it if you have tattoo coverups. Views of Mt Fuji are spectacular when dining in their restaurant or relaxing in the spa.

My special thanks to their staff Ito who helped me to book the bus ticket to Shinjuku. Mr Ito showed his whole-hearted service to us which made us feeling the best service of a hotel employee. Would definitely visit this onsen hotel again. Travel from the hotel to the nearby sight-seeing points such as Karaguchigu station or Gotemba is also convenient.
One point wish to suggest is that if they could offer traditional Japanese cusine dinner would be perfect.
