Good enough

Miyakojima itself is a really laid back, little place, so don't go there expecting 5-star luxury. Of course, there's always the Tokyu Resort, if you insist on that sort of thing. I did, however, find Hotel Koushin more than adequate, and it lent a very authentic feel to my experience on the island. The old lady proprietor prepares a pretty satisfying Japanese breakfast (complete with fried salmon and dessert) -and calls you to make sure you get up for it (totally worth it). The room has the standard amenities, although I daresay you won't be spending much time in your room on this island. Location-wise, it's very near to Painagama Beach. Other main attractions are all within a 15-20minute drive away -and that's driving at the extremely chill standard island speed (50km/h). Free parking too (only 4 lots though, so I was pretty lucky I guess). Free washing machine and dryer service as well.

Not a bad little place

It's a standard, if not slightly below standard stay. The rooms were fine! Bathrooms are small but expected in Japan, beds were very comfy and I was happy to see a balcony. They cleaned everyday and the ladies in reception were lovely. The one we dealt with predominately didn't speak any english and only spoke the old Miyako form of japanese which made the small amount we knew useless, however she was HUGELY friendly, helpful and all round generally lovely.
Breakfasts are crazy. I could barely eat lunch. Don't expect your usual breakfast. She will serve you what she has up for the day, including fish, rice, hot or cold soups, tofu, raw egg to mix in your rice and all sorts of other items. Very fun! I loved it.
Miyako is VERY quiet. It's not the Japan that you may be used to from the Tokyo or Kyoto area either. Buildings are plain, the area isn't exactly pleasant nor does it feel like 'island life' so this place is not bad given the few other options around.
Good location too. Easy walking distance to the 'food' and 'nightlife' streets.

個人重視で干渉ないです。

ワンルームマンションをホテルにした感じです。洗濯機、乾燥機無料。不定期のサービス朝食がありました。部屋もキレイです。部屋の防音は期待できません。お互い様なので気をつけたほうがいいです。

アパートタイプのホテル（朝食はついてません）

6月末に1泊しました。室内はきれいですが梅雨明け前だったので、室内は湿気が多くジメジメしていました。洗濯機、乾燥機は1階に共同のものがあり無料で使用できます。タオルを自由に取り換えていいので海に行く際はとても便利でした！！
鍵もすべて番号で開錠なので紛失の心配をすることなく楽でした。
立地は昔ながらの路地にある感じなのでとても狭いです。レンタカーのかたは気を付けてください。夜ご飯を食べに行くときは便利な場所にあります。路地裏散策も楽しかったです。

ロケーションOKなホテル

ダイビングで滞在しました。部屋はとても綺麗で、快適に過ごすことが出来ました。でも、部屋の壁が薄いのだと思いますが、隣室の人の声がよく聞こえます。静かな方だといいですが、にぎやかな方が泊まっていると、迷惑に感じると思います。フロントの方はとても親切で、感じ良く対応して頂きました。繁華街にも、歩いて行けるロケーションで、便利です。
