Great quirky guest house with lots of atmosphere
Our room was great, it was clean, good aircon & comfortable double thickness Japanese style fit on beds.
The staff were great, they were all eager to help & collectively had a good knowledge of the features on offer in the Iya Valley.
We opted for dine in dinner on two night & the traditional Japanese style food was very tasty.
Free wifi available in the lounge area & easy car parking at the front of the premises.
There is a train station not far from the guest house & the staff are very happy to pickup/ drop off at the station if that’s how your travelling.
We had a car & found that option worked very well for us, giving us the flexibility to stop at random point of interest that are not on any maps.
Speaking of maps the local Tourist Information Service were extremely helpful & were able to “dig” out an invaluable English map that also had highlighted features with additional information about the highlighted interest point.

Nice Place
However there are no lockers in the dorm room. The common area is also small so it can get noisy early in the morning and late at night. The house is Japanese style so it is quaint but if you are over 170 cm expect to hit your head daily.
