Hotel dining experience
The breakfast buffet had a good variety but was lukewarm. A very disappointing experience

Good location and comfort
Friendly and helpful staff.
Very short walk to the Octagon and train station.

Not up to the Scenic level that I know!
(1) $32 special! Soup and main.
Our large group experience - soup came when reminded - tasty with small bit of soggy bread.
We chose as our mains - very thin 1 piece of fish or chicken sliver, 4” long if lucky, too well cooked, so tiny on a bed of lettuce 3/4 of the plate with some soggy chips. MANY complaints heard.
Would be better to concentrate on a good main special.
(2) Actually gave them a second attempt with mains dinner of ribs, coleslaw chips - much better but chef needs to learn that ribs need a little final cooking at a higher heat to actually set the sauce rather than a boiled look and taste.
(3) Breakfast - not the rating this Hotel is attempting to hit!
Do you actually use eggs or egg powder for the scrambled wet eggs looked definitely unappetising! Everything lacks setup - few slices of one kind of bread, dry mushrooms, half hearted small bowl of muesli, coffee machine lacked milk - nothing seems to be replenished even if you go 1/2hr after opening.
Food wise I did wonder who is in charge - the CHEF, Duty Manager, Manager or ???
