Great Place

We were on a driving tour thru New Zealand for a month and this was best place we stayed at. We had thought we would need a rest so had deliberately chosen a quiet place. This was a huge apartment with a balcony and a view directly onto the beach: good facilities bed/bathroom / kitchen : 5 mins walk to cafe/ restaurants.Not much to do but that was why we were here: wander up and down the never ending beach.

Sea views and great location

Lovely clean and comfy room, sea view, friendly n helpful hosts. Very convenient, quiet. Perfect for a couple of nights away.
Recommend food at Charter Club and fascinating museum 32kms drive down to Opotiki

Lovely Getaway- Location & Communication & Amenities were OUTSTANDING!

Very comfortable and incredible location (being only a few steps from the beach front). Communication was great with Glynis, and would 10/10 recommend this to anyone. Hope to stay again soon, this place had everything we needed and more!!

Great Location lovely hosts

Motel is just across the road from the beach and the hosts were very friendly and helpful as were the staff. Rooms very comfortable. Got a takeaway from the Thai place just down the road and it was good.

Just great!

Fabulous motel - not the most modern but clean, comfortable, and roomy. Fantastic location on dead end street and over the road from The best beach in the world! And the Ocean View is genuinely pet friendly. We discovered some other places were “pet friendly” providing your pet stayed locked in your car or the motel owner’s garage, but at Ocean View our wee pooch was welcome inside the unit. Our first ever visit to Ohope - but we’ll be back!
