My Friend has everything. If they don’t have it, they’ll find it or make it for you

We came looking for organic wax and Randal recommended Rob Machado Wax (actually no one else has it). My fiancee came looking for a surfboard, and we got into a fascinating discussion about surfboards, history, and shapers. We travelled by car from Lima to Mancora and “MyFreeend” is our favorite stop. It’s cozy and full of positive energy. You’ll get to meet Randal, Tia Anita, Chicama, and the staff, who would make you feel simply like home. It’s sad to say goodbye but we have to continue our trip. Thank you for your magic MyFriend, we’ll be back. “Con MyFreeeend no hay pierde Bro”

My friend hostel

Marginal security, marginal facilities, overcharged me. My friends is laid back, but people continually left the door open to the hostel and with no locks on the windows and marginal locks on the doors. Security was less than adequate. The hot water heater in my room didn’t work, they did repair it, the room was dirty, shower hadn’t been scrubbed for a while, dirty floor. They overcharged me for the deposit quantity and I couldn’t prove the exact amount I was supposed to pay so I had to pay the entire amount including the deposit. I really like Huanchaco but probably won’t stay in this hostel again

Good hostel in Huanchaco

My Friend hostel is situated very close to the beach of Huanchaco. We stayed in a private room which was clean and had a comfortable bed. Only downside was the water pressure of the shower, which was quite lacking. The owners of the hostel are very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast in the restaurant of the hostel and it tasted very nice, including a superb strawberry juice.

Great place,food and waves

My friend hostal is a very chill place near the beach (best wave around), I stayed in these hostel in different occasions and always come back to the clean and welcoming atmosphere. Would recomend to everyone, with very affordable prices on stay and sea food platters. The owner is a certified surf instructor who will definitely help you improve your abilities in the ocean. Also a good home base if you want to travel to chicama (world's longest left wave).

Perfect & relaxed hostel

This is probably one of the nicest hostels I've stayed in during my trip in Peru! The location is perfect near the beach, there is a restaurant underneath the hostel with cheap and delicious food and the rooms are comfortable. However, the best part about this hostel is definitely the people. The ladies in the restaurant are always kind and cheerful. Randy gives surf lessons, which are great, I can really recommend them! And besides that he will arrange anything for you - just to make sure that you will have a great time. I stayed longer than I expected all because of the great stay!
