Amazing panorama with lunch

Spectacular views up and down the canyon either way and we spotted vehicles driving along the cliff opposite. Our traveling hosts had never stopped here so it was a great find. The waiter recommended a beef chop, 1.8kgs! It was cooked to 3 different levels, at our request, perfectly, accompanied by roasted potato and vegetables and a lovely bottle of red wine. Then we got a tour of their recently renovated accommodation as our traveling host has added this venue to their next spot to overnight. Well worth the trip.

Grand location and passion!

Unique location perched on a cliff on the left bank of the Verdon, less frequented but just as beautiful. The room overlooked the balcony at the top of the cliff, above the gorges, facing the Blanc Martel trail, and we could see the walkers or climbers...
For several generations, they have kept this establishment alive. Period photos allow us to see the evolution of this magical place.
A refreshment at least of the rooms and bathrooms would be really useful. The rooms are spacious. The bedding, originally double, was quickly arranged into a large bed. Thank you. But it could be better, and the two overlapping comforters are not pleasant for sleeping. The heating is limited in the face of the ambient humidity and the short period of cold that we unfortunately experienced.
The meal on site, as there are no establishments around, is frankly good.

Fantastic view of the Gorges du Verdon gorge

Logis Hotel du Grand Canyon du Verdon is a simple hotel that scores points with its spectacular location. We had a drink on the hotel terrace right on the edge of the canyon and couldn't get enough of the magnificent view of the Gorges du Verdon. We chose half board here and we were satisfied. Nice staff and very good parking.
We would definitely stay here again.

On the edge of the world

This hotel is perched on the edge, the very edge, of the Grand Canyon du Verdon. The view is spectacular, and the hotel is positioned to take great advantage of that. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean, with access to a jaw-dropping view from an adjacent terrace. Dinner and breakfast were both tasty and, again, The View! The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
