Traditional hotel
This is a traditional hotel but for the price, we received a good welcome and the beds were very comfortable, which made an enjoyable stay. It is conveniently located near the station and has easy parking in the street as it is in a residential area.

Only good for one night
I agree that it is an outrage that this hotel has two stars. This is a reason to reject the whole french star system.The hotel probably hasn`t been refurnished since the 80s. Theres no need to go into details about this hotel. its to expensive compared with is standard. Breakfast is not included. If you would like to buy it, they serve it in your room, where nobody would like to eat, in the street (!) or in a plastic tent that they have put up for this purpose. Try to find a better place. The good thing is that they probably often have free rooms,even if you haven`t booked. At least off season (which is July and August. Or unless there is a festival in that week.
Don`t book throug Booking.com or anything like that. This hotel has a two days limit for cancelling, while other places often have one day.
I think that they have some cheaper rooms with only cold water, that they wisely don`t advertise on the net, but it could be a solution for a one night stay.
The other good thing is that it is close to the railway station. And that is where you maybe arrive without a car and the place you take a bus to one of the better beaches (La Laguna plage is a good recommendation, reache dby bus no 1, mor details in the tourist info close to the railway station))
The tourist infor even have ideas about a number of bed and b that you don`tfind on the net.

Definitely not a 2* hotel
It is more of a low quality pension indeed. Our room was really simple and most of all old, it looked like it hadn't been renovated since 1970. The bathroom and WC were surprisingly red.. I had never seen that in my whole life but it might be because I am only 21 !
Concerning the cleanliness of the room, our bed sheets had some stains and as the floor is quite dark we couldn't really see what was on it.
On the whole, I think that for that price ( we paid 60€) you can definetly find a way nicer place to stay. We had just come back from Spain when we decided to spend a night at this hotel, and we had stayed at a really cheaper pension which was truly better than Les Mimosas.

Avis mitigé sur 2 chambres occupées
Durant mon séjour dans cet hôtel, j'ai occupé 2 chambres.
La 1ère était à 98 euros et, elle se trouvait dans le bâtiment principal. Cette chambre était parfaite, tant au niveau propreté qu'au niveau ameublement.
Aucun point négatif sur celle-ci.. J'ai très bien dormi.
Puis, pour compléter mon séjour, j'ai dû prendre une autre chambre à 70 euros dans un bâtiment annexe.
Et là, la grande grande déception, pas au niveau de la taille qui était normale pour une personne.
Mais, à peine entrée dans cette chambre une énorme odeur de renfermé dû au point de moisissure au dessus de la fenêtre, j'ai prévenu la gérante dès le lendemain matin et lui ai demandé une bombe de désodorisant mais la bombe était à moitié pleine et en un jour j'avais tout utilisé.
J'ai redemandé une autre bombe mais, elle en avait plus.. Sur ma note pour ce gros souci elle m'a offert la taxe de séjour mais ce que j'aurais préféré c'est qu'elle achète une bombe ou de l'encens ou autre.
Heureusement que tous les hôtels étaient pleins car, je n'aurai supporté une nuit de plus.. Impensable d'avoir une telle odeur ce qui peut engendrer de réel problème de santé pour les personnes fragiles.
Autres points négatifs de cette chambre : la tête de lit jaunie, pas très nette et sale /le sommier était tâché (voire les photos) pas de WiFi (en fait y'en a mais, il ne fonctionne pas /la douche les joints étaient noirs et la barre de la douche était cassée..
Une chambre, qu'elle coûte 98 ou 70 euros doit être saine et nette. Le prix peut se justifier sur la grandeur de la chambre ou la vue mais jamais sur les points négatifs cités plus hauts. Et même 70 euros pour une chambre dans un tel état, est encore trop chère.
Dégouté de cette chambre et, j'avais hâte d'y partir.
Je pense que les gerants on mis leur effort de rénovation dans les chambres du bâtiment principal et laisse le bâtiment annexe à l'abandon, du moins la chambre ou j'étais...
C'est bien la 1er fois que je tombe dans une chambre dans un tel état.
Pour le petit déjeuner 6,50 euros, il est simple mais correct.
L'accueil par Céline à été très chaleureux agréable et souriant.
J'ai mis 2 car pour la 1er chambre j'aurai mis 4 sur 5 mais pour la 2ème j'aurai mis zéro sur 5.
Pour la recommandation de cet hôtel, oui mais dans les autres chambres mais surtout surtout pas dans celle où j'ai séjourné.

Accueil chaleureux
Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans cet hôtel. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques, disponibles si nous le souhaitons pour répondre aux questions et orientent en cas de besoin pour ce déplacer dans les environs. La chambre à certes un style vintage, mais est très propre et la literie est très confortable. Le petit déjeuner est très bien. Nous recommandons sans aucune hésitation cet établissement !
