Absolutely wonderful

The setting is idyllic — an old, charming mill tucked away in a beautiful wooded valley. The rooms are simple but spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We stayed for 4 nights and had a lovely room with a balcony and could hear the sound of the running water, which was wonderful.
The lounge and dining room are really cosy and relaxed.
The terrace by the river is such a lovely setting for dinner, and the food was absolutely fantastic — easily the best we had during our two weeks in France. It was also incredibly good value for a three-course meal of that standard.
We would definitely come back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Idyllic stopover

First of all, the setting is absolutely idyllic. An old and charming mill nestled in a valley: dining in the evening next to the small stream is enchanting. We had a very nice room. A well-executed cuisine. A very reasonable price for the quality of the Gourmets menu that we had chosen that evening (€63: appetizer, fish, meat, cheese, and dessert!). Very hearty breakfast buffet. Young and charming staff. A very nice place

A nice surprise

My wife and I spent one night at the Moulin du Ruat in early August 2026.
We were very pleasantly surprised. The building, full of history but well restored, is charming. It is located along a pretty stream, which a large terrace runs alongside and is pleasant, whose bucolic atmosphere won us over.
The room we occupied was comfortable and well-equipped. I particularly appreciated the presence of a bathtub and separate toilets.
The breakfast was excellent with many fresh products made on-site. I recommend the salted butter caramel crepe!
In short, a quick but charming stay!

magical place

A big thank you to this enchanting place and to this whole team that gives their all so that we have an unforgettable stay.
We were planning a surprise for friends and everything lived up to our expectations. The rooms are magnificent and well-kept, right down to the presentation of the toilet paper. The refined lounge where you can relax in the evening, the magical terrace with this river where you get the impression that a fairy is going to appear; no, really nothing to complain about, the abundant breakfast and delicious crepes.
For my part, no hesitation, I will return with joy.

Lovely hotel in beautiful place- great food!

Lovely time, great hotel with lovely ambiance and restaurant has tasty food. Breakfasts also super with a variety of options. Interesting places to see in the vicinity.
