A Mexican Mansion Experience!

The family running the hotel were most welcoming and made our visit special. There for one night--room was spacious, bed was comfortable and the spacious parking right outside a plus. Short walk into town past the Mexican mansions for dinner; clouds parted the next morning and we were treated to the beautiful mountains surrounding the town. The family also runs the Mexican import shop in town--perfect for unique gifts.

Very pleasant step

Warm welcome in this hotel very close to the city center.
Motorcycles can park safely.
Breakfast is hearty and excellent.
From some rooms, a beautiful view of the mountain.
The room was bright, and there was a balcony overlooking the garden.

Top hotel

Very pretty and very clean hotel. Well located (near Sauze or Pra Loup ski resort). Large free parking lot. And above all a perfect welcome: I wanted a bathtub (it's getting difficult to find one) Very good value for money.

Traditional Family-run Hotel

At the heart of the Grande Route des Alpes is Barcelonnette, a small town which makes a good stop off. About 5 minutes walk from the centre, this hotel has its own parking and is in the process of being modernised. The public rooms are a little dated but the breakfast buffet was varied and tasty. Our room was a good size and very clean. The decor is a little dated in both the bedroom and the bathroom (pine furniture, colourful tiles). However, the location is quiet with great views and we had a very good night's sleep in the comfortable bed.
