Nice hotel in good location

Nice clean hotel, conveniently located. Clean, spacious room and bathroom.
Very friendly staff.
Only problem was the “wake up call” by the cleaners chatting loudly outside our door for ages, despite the do not disturb! We mentioned to reception on checking out and they were apologetic but not surprised, as it’s a continuing issue. Other than that really good.

Wonderful time travel

Magnificent reception hall, real museum from the Belle Epoque period to art deco objects,
Lovely staff, attentive to requests.
Very comfortable rooms in the most modest category, which suggests the quality of superiors...
A wonderful journey back in time that will delight the jaded of old palaces taken over by major hotel chains and not always to their advantage.
Despite a disappointing breakfast, a real happiness!

Bonjour Monsieur Haumont, j'ai pris connaissance de votre message et en suis très touchée. Il semble toutefois que vous ayez rencontré un problème lors du petit déjeuner, cela me navre car nous avons un cahier des charges bien précis et si ce dernier n'a pas été suivi, recevez toutes mes excuses.

Our room was clean. The internet did not work properly as it kept on dropping and had a weak signal. Must purchase morning coffee or extra water. The gym room is simple but good for one person. Great location. Easy to park in front in the street and put money electronicaly.

SUPERB HOTEL WITH BEAUTIFUL DECORATION

Superb hotel very comfortable. The façade is superb but when you enter you are impressed by these columns and this magnificent staircase and this ceiling. Superb furniture and superb decoration. The small rotunda living room is also superb, as is the 1st floor. Do not forget also the magnificent stained glass windows of the staircase and the rotunda. The room (privilege with views of the citadel and the lion) was superb, magnificent view. Very nice modern decoration. Very comfortable also. Nothing to blame. Super friendly Welcoming staff too. A beautiful address to discover for a special night

appalling.

Catastrophic experience! Terrible stay in the middle of a techno music festival: our room was very poorly soundproofed and street cleaning started at 5am: 3 nights without closing an eye: the hotel had not warned us of the possible nuisance due to this festival. Which also made access very complicated: the old town was totally closed to traffic. The staff is not professional or understanding. Moreover, the shower hose was leaking, the coffee machine in the rooms was not working , the decoration is in bad taste and breakfast is served in a very gooey blind room.... . Hotel to avoid

Madame, vous avez mis le même commentaire sur booking aussi je vous réponds à l'identique: "Il est regrettable que suite à votre séjour chez nous, votre message et votre note soient incendiaires cela mérite quelques éclaircissements.
Dans la boîte de réception de booking, le message relatif aux réservations stipulait pourtant les conseils de l’hôtel pendant le Festival International de Musique Universitaire, connu et réputé.
Lors de votre réservation, vous aviez pu obtenir une place de parking pour le vendredi soir uniquement car ce dernier était complet le samedi, ce qui ne vous a pas empêchée, le samedi, de stationner sur la place déjà réservée d’un autre client, lequel a été désagréablement surpris mais très conciliant.
Suite à votre remarque concernant une fuite d’eau et une machine à café défectueuse, notre homme de maintenance a vérifié et est revenu…. Bredouille !"
Je suis surprise de votre remarque concernant la salle du petit déjeuner qui comporte une très grande fenêtre dans la partie petit déjeuner chaud et vitrine réfrigérée.
Quant à la décoration de mauvais goût, elle n'est sans doute pas à votre goût, mais chacun pourra se faire une opinion en se promenant sur notre site.
