A piece of Italy next to Albi!
Many say it... in this corner of the Tarn, in the middle of the famous Gaillac vineyards, you really get the impression of being transported to Tuscany, of traveling elsewhere, right in the middle of the cypresses so characteristic of this beautiful region of Italy.
The Domaine de La Monestarié lives up to its name: it is a true "estate," in the sense of its definition, that is to say a large character residence, having preserved all the charm of the old, both beautiful and noble, and above all renovated and furnished with very sure taste.
What's more, the place is magical, I would dare to say romantic without hesitation, a place where you want to love each other if you come to stay there as a couple.
It is all this that captivated us, and it is for this reason that we got married in this exceptional place, a true haven of peace where everything is only serenity and chic.
In two words, we are here in a jewel box of beauty where you get the impression that time has stopped. It feels good to be there!
The Domaine de La Monestarié is above all a guest house, with a dozen magnificent rooms and suites, all different and all decorated with great care, taste, and refinement. The comfort is modern, while the owners nevertheless wished to preserve everything that could connect this place to its past history, in the 19th century, but surely in the 18th as well, such as, for example, a magnificent parquet floor composed of five different wood species, and a thousand and one other details that would be too long to list.
But let's not be mistaken: this place is much more than just accommodation, it is an experience suspended out of time that makes us forget the hustle and bustle of our sometimes all-too-busy lives.
As for the hosts of this beautiful and luxurious estate, Didier and Rebecca, they are very attentive to the travelers they welcome, as if they were lifelong friends. Their kindness has no limits; they are at all times very attentive to ensuring that everyone feels comfortable. In two words, they are wonderful!
You go there to get married, to celebrate an anniversary, for a seminar, to surprise a loved one... and in the summer, once or twice a month, an absolutely magical dinner-concert is organized for the great pleasure of the privileged few who had the good idea to book.
Finally, you should know that the location of this unique gem is ideal for spending a few days between Albi, the bastides, and the Tarn valley, for moments of rest in peace and quiet and for discovering the surroundings.
One thing is for sure, you always come back to La Monestarié!

There are accommodations where you spend the night... and there are places you remember for a long time. Le Monastérie is unquestionably part of the second category.
From the very first moments, you feel that this house has a history. The decoration is remarkable, blending antique objects, works of art, and cabinets of curiosities with great taste. Every room makes you want to stop for a few more minutes to observe a detail that you had not seen before.
The patio, the lounges, the reading areas, the animals (real or bronze!) create a unique, warm, and poetic atmosphere.
A huge thank you to Rebecca, Didier, and Paloma for their hospitality. They know how to host with a simplicity, availability, and kindness that make you feel like you are invited to stay with friends.

Simply perfect.
5 stars is not enough to describe this simply sublime place! We had an excellent stay with hosts who were just as excellent, kind, welcoming, and helpful. Didier, Rebecca, and Lola know how to welcome guests, take the time to provide information, and chat. The rooms are very beautiful. The location of the estate is perfect. The geese are funny and endearing. We will return with pleasure and we recommend it to anyone who still has questions. Thanks again for this stay.

A happy birthday at an extraordinary inn!
Twenty people traveled from the U.S., Europe and the UK to celebrate my birthday at this gorgeous B and B. The owners Didier and Rebecca did everything they could to welcome us and create a unique, comfortable, and happy experience for all of us. This beautifully decorated inn is gorgeous. All rooms are unique and beautiful with comfortable beds and well equipped bathrooms. There are also apartments with kitchens and many areas to sit and relax with friends and family. The outdoor spaces are exceptional with comfortable furnishings and a lovely swimming pool. There is nothing that compares in France to the plentiful breakfast containing baked goods, breads, yogurt, meat, cheese, eggs, fruit all expertly prepared. We ordered two superb catered dinners for our guests and the table settings were lovely. And the food amazing. Most of all, we felt so very welcomed. Our guests were astounded by the sheer beauty of Domaine de la Monestarie. We could not have had a better time. From the very first contact with Didier, I knew this would be something special and memorable. And it was all of that and more!! Thanks Didier,Rebecca and staff! We will never forget you!

Travel in beauty
Rebecca and Didier are two perfect hosts. Warm and welcoming. Their hotel is beautiful and tastefully decorated. The hotel's beautiful garden and sublime corners make guests feel comfortable and pampered.
Breakfast offers delicious homemade delicacies by Rebecca. In beautiful countryside, Rebecca and Didier’s “star” animals complete the idyllic picture of their hotel: four magnificent white geese, and in particular Lorette, with whom I fell headlong in love.
