It’s always an enchanted bracket
More than twenty years have passed since our very first stay at L’Étang du Moulin and it’s still the same favorite
We always come back with the same happiness. What makes this address so special is its soul, a business run by the same family for generations.
We deeply feel the values of transmission, passion and consistency in excellence.
The setting, by the pond, is as bucolic and soothing as ever. Each stay is a timeless break, a precious moment to recharge.
The gourmet restaurant remains a reference, a refined, creative cuisine, beautifully highlighting seasonal and local products. With each visit, we are amazed by the fine flavours and the elegant and careful presentation of the dishes.
And what makes this place so unique is also the hospitality. The staff is remarkably attentive and kind.
The service is professional and constant. With each stay, we find the same quality and care in the details.
We will certainly come back to that.

Excellent hotel in a splendid location, courteous service, quiet room with a good bed and a quiet night. It is a quality establishment, pleasant, well managed, clean, with neat and efficient furnishings. Very good breakfast served in a beautiful dining room. Rate in line with the services offered.
The traditional restaurant "Le Bistrot" is also worth highlighting, especially the service. Traditional quality cuisine, such as trout fillets (although served without vegetables) or the flash of creamy cottage cheese and blueberries. Menu at a more than reasonable price, and extensive wine list. All in a beautiful setting and friendly atmosphere.

Hotel overrated
To evaluate this institution, the three services offered must be separated, which differ greatly from each other.
The 4-star hotel is not at the level of the above rating.
A three-star would have been wiser.
Apart from the setting, which is relaxing and bucolic at will, in good weather, the site is beautiful.
For the hotel, meanwhile, we enter with, at the entrance, to welcome you, a photo of the lower abdomen of a hairy man, whose sex we took care to hide, phew! Honor is safe, but not vulgarity.
We still haven't understood the scope of this work of art.
We have already visited a lot of 4 or even 5 star hotels (relais and castles), but never has such a vulgar decoration been proposed to us.
The bar, meanwhile, is minimalist, embryonic without too much cozy comfort, with an unfortunate coffee table, two non-soft medium sofas, and a number of not very comfortable chairs.
For the room with terrace, well, the view less, but nothing decoying. The shower a plastic cabin, without bathtub prohibits any non-anorexic person to shower without any gene.
The spa and sauna, which we were happy to use Service. But the "4 stars" who must anticipate any breakdown, announces that the parts to operate the place of relaxation, will arrive only next week.

The bistro restaurant, on the other hand, disheartening compared to the gastronomy. The icing on the cake, the waitress trainee, announces to us, that the same morning she did not yet know the existence of tagliatelle.
Uplifting and distressing.
Finally, the only impeccable rating can be attributed to the gourmet restaurant, which deserves its Michelin star.

Dream holiday
We received as a gift a bistro side stay with access to the spa market menu night in a comfortable room and breakfast buffet.
The stay was excellent, the services are of quality, the staff of remarkable friendliness, with little care and listening. The meal was succulent with quality ingredients and brilliant craftsmanship.The bedding was of great comfort, the room a beautiful area with balcony. Quiet and green setting. I recommend this place!
