Ice stay, ild fashioned auberge. Quiet and cosy
Auberge is located close to town center, an easy 10- 15 walk
About 500 metres for the man road, yet very quiet location
Typical small, cosy auberge 11 rooms
Rooms on the 2e floor have ensuite, first floor shared toilets
Although hotel and the rooms look old fashioned and may need some updating
It is a charming place, clean rooms and a friendly welcome .
There is a restaurant, and the dinner was great. The restaurant has the vibe als the rest of the place, bit le fashioned , yet cosy
The only negative was for us the breakfast, it was very basic
Check in is at 5 pm, but if your are planning arriving early, have a walk to the town center,
You can also mention your arrival time . The hotel will sent you the code of the front door
Inside you will find the key in an envelope
We will stay here again

Traveller Beware !!
We duly obliged & had a very quick snack as kitchen was closing.
Whilst the bed was comfortable the room was extremely basic and well worn. There’s ’chic & shabby’ but there certainly was no chic in this room.
The bathroom was as follows:
Shower head did not fix to shower up stand. Shower flooded the floor as screen old and not fit for purpose which was a slip hazard . Panels on front of bath hanging off. Panels around toilet missing. Tiles around enclosure cracked & mouldy. Towel rack hanging off the wall. No hand towels only bath towels.
As a result of the above we asked to change room the next morning.
We received an email from the establishment as to which room was available, no apologises or enquiry as to why we wanted to move. The second room was more functional although in need of a face lift.
On the morning of departure, after a 3 night stay we asked a member of staff if they could possibly arrange a taxi to take us to the train station to which the reply was NO we don’t do that! Absolutely no customer service at this Auberge.
We realised this wasn’t a 3 star hotel but at €156 per night room only we did expect the basics to be met. Never experienced anything quite like it.

Small, traditional gastronomic inn.
It served our family very well at the start and end of 8 days of skiing in Les Arcs, which is reachable by funicular railway, a short car-ride away.
We received a warm welcome and had two wonderful gastronomic dinners and hearty breakfasts: virtually everything is home-made.
The sleeping accommodation is what you might call “old-fashioned French”, but the rooms appear to be getting upgrades as the young owners clearly intend to improve their hotel business. Some of the rooms have shared toilets ( if this concerns you, make sure you book rooms “Avec WC”). The plumbing is still fairly “traditional”!
Go to a soulless modern hotel with lots of smart facilities if you want…….but if you want a small, welcoming country hotel with lots of real character and fantastic local cuisine, then choose La Petite Auberge!

Car les prix ne sont pas exorbitants lorsque jusqu'au pain tout est fait maison, frais et de saison
