A disappointing experience, followed by an unacceptable response
During our stay we noticed some disappointing aspects that I took care to mention in a constructive and respectful review. We were particularly disappointed by the maintenance of the outdoor space, the comfort of the bed linen, and the breakfast that did not meet our expectations. Moreover, the welcome could have been warmer.
However, what is most disturbing is the response we received from the host via private messaging, following the public release of our review. Here is the excerpt from that message, which speaks for itself:
"We saw your shitty comment but as soon as you arrived we suspected the other one who enters the courtyard without ringing without saying hello just to say you work here!!!! What an education... For the record it was breakfasts offered so normally we do not claim when we received an education For the rest it is useless to discuss with good for nothing who think they are people of the high "
I would like to clarify that we said hello and we have selected a Breakfast included offer on Booking.
This response is not only inappropriate, it reflects a blatant lack of professionalism and respect for clients. I find it important to report this behaviour so that other travellers can be aware of the risk of such an experience.
A warm welcome and respectful service are essential in the hospitality industry, and unfortunately, this has not been the case here. I hope this review will help to make both future guests and owners aware of the importance of courtesy and professionalism.
