Not worth a 4*
What we particularly liked:
The unbeatable location: It is the absolute strong point of the hotel! We were right next to the Croisette, the port, and surrounded by a multitude of restaurants and shops. Ideal for doing everything on foot as a family.
The warm welcome: The staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
What we liked less:
The comfort of the rooms: The rooms look a bit dated and could really use a refresh.
Technical details: During our stay, the air conditioning was only half-working and the coffee machine in the room was broken. For the standard of the location, one expects functional amenities.

5 star location, but seriously dated and doesn’t meet the price tag
But, if you want a review based on the hotel itself, then they really need to spend some of the money they make on the hotel. Case in point, the beautiful outside hotel where the name of the hotel is lit up as SPL__DED.
We stayed in room 512 paying £480 a night. The room is huge (lovely tall ceilings) with a beautiful outside balcony where you can pull down some shade triggering France by the sea vibes. The issues are the rooms are dated, door handles hanging off, old smelling, a bath with a shower, but not a good shower – imagine holding it over your head sort of thing.
For this price tag I’d expect chic, fresh, new, glam, but everything felt dated and seaside town. I appreciate that’s maybe the vibe, but at some point, it’ll catch up with this hotel.
Parking is a pain if no one tells you what to do. Which they don’t. You park in one if the beach underground car parks. Its circa 24 euro a day. I parked at Pantiero, but there is also Palais. It is really easy – you drive in, no ticket, the spaces are good size (needed as we had a very wide Mercedes), the car was safe, and it was clean and secure. You pay when you want to leave by typing in your car reg, pay at the machine and then leave – very simple.
The breakfast was a shocker. For 24 euros you are delivered bread (mini 4 selection), jam, coffee. You choose your selection, but it feels so over priced and in line with – pay the Cannes beachside price, but deliver a 3 star product.
The hotel bar is really pleasant to sit outside at. The house slush rum, was nice, but needed an extra shot as was very watered down. However, 60 euro for 4 drinks…you see where I’m going.
Our bedding had stains, even when changed the second day and a few other minor things like tiny tea cups, but things that wouldn’t matter had the main things been delivered.
I honestly think for my weekend, it served its purpose. I haven’t stayed in any other place in Cannes so bear this in mind as it might be that this standard is value for money.
I wouldn’t stay here again.

Perfect stay
Very pleasant staff.
Clean room, perfect bedding (we had booked "deluxe")
Very convenient parking, but it costs extra
The best parts: the bar, the restaurant (very good), and the small rooftop pool!
Breakfast is eaten in this area, so the day starts off well.
We will be back!!!!
