Perfect weekend near Beynac

We had the most wonderful three days staying here. Christelle and Jean Pierre are the owners and run everything. They are constantly available, nothing is too much trouble and they are both charming. We had dinner there on two nights. Christelle does the cooking which is excellent. Good choice of wines from the area. Our room was comfortable and there is an excellent swimming pool. Great location for Beynac, the Saturday market in Sarlat and the extraordinary gardens at Marqueyssac which are not to be missed. Highly recommended.

Kind courteous and accommodating host and hostess. A beautiful chateau in lovely surroundings. The local area and restaurants deserve further investigation. As recommended by our hostess- Restaurant Petite Tonnelle definitely worth a visit. 5 stars. Thank you

An exceptional weekend!

We spent an absolutely unforgettable weekend at the Château d’Argentonesse in the beautiful Périgord.
Upon arrival, we were charmed by the sumptuous setting and elegance of the place. The castle has been renovated with remarkable taste and craftsmanship, perfectly combining period charm and modern comfort. Every detail testifies to the care and passion that the owners have put into this place. The large swimming pool, nestled in a peaceful environment, allowed us to relax in the strong heat.
The hosts are simply exceptional, welcoming, caring and always available to share their valuable tour tips and excellent addresses to feast in the area. Thanks to them, we discovered local nuggets.
Breakfast was a real feast, fresh, quality products and presented with care, a real happiness to start the day well. As for the bedding, it deserves a special mention, optimal comfort and guaranteed restful nights after beautiful days of walking to discover the region.
An unforgettable stay in an idyllic setting, with guests of rare kindness. We leave with wonderful memories, and one desire, to return!

Very good

My companion and I had a wonderful "long" long weekend in this area that I had not yet had the opportunity to visit.
The area is beautiful and, the choice of accommodation was perfect!!
The charm of the old stone, the large swimming pool very appreciated by the great heat of August, the pretty park (garden), our room, tastefully decorated, in short, the Castle of Argentonesse is very well held by its guests.
Very available and charming hosts.
I highly recommend!!

très agréable séjour dans ce château magnifiquement restauré et qui comporte tous les équipements de confort moderne. nos hôtes sont très sympathiques et ont été de bons conseil pour nos visites de la région. grande chambre avec une excellente literie, petits déjeuner plus que suffisants, grande piscine dans un parc immense (bien que je n'ai pu en profiter en ce début de mai) dommage que la route passe si près du parc, mais cela n'enlève rien au plaisir d'y séjourner
