A weekend at the Eden
We had booked a room for two nights with mountain views. We were upgraded to an apartment and had a very nice view.
Breakfast at 12€ is very hearty in a very nice restaurant room.
The staff is young, very friendly, professional and efficient.
We recommend this hotel.

Read this before booking. Bank charges apply for free cancellation.
I booked this hotel on booking.com but there was a change of plans and I had to cancel my bookings. Most hotels don’t take a pre payment until it is after the free cancellation period. However Eden deducted from my credit card. When the booking was cancelled within the free cancellation period, they charged me €20. If they are not able to pay for bank charges then they shouldn’t deduct from my credit card so early.
I have checked their booking policies on booking.com and have not found anything about bank charges. I am entitled to a full refund but they refuse to do it.
If you are booking this hotel please take note of this.

C'est Superbe!!!
I stayed here last week with a friend for 3 nights and it was a really lovely hotel!!!
The staff were very friendly and helpful! There was a nice games room and lounge on the left and also on nice lounge area on the right with a bar and a beautiful fire place giving it a cosy, warm and peaceful environment!
Le petit déjeuner c'est très bien! A lovely breakfast area with a great selection of things! Our room got upgraded to a very spacious family room, modern and with fantastic view too.!
The location was ideal as it was so close to the Flegere lift and ticket office to get my lift pass easily and very close to a good ski shop (Ravanel Les Praz). This was very easy to get my lift pass and ski hire.
Chamonix itself was about 2.5 km walk away to the centre ville but it was nice walk down along the river away from the main road. We walked down and back up to Les Praz on our first day about 25/30 minutes walk each way. Chamonix centre ville c'est tres belle! There are regular shuttle buses that can take you up and down the valley. We went up to Le Tour and Grand Montets, Argentiere one day and did Flegere and Brevent the other 2 days.
We had dinner at Les Lanchers bar hotel and had a wee beer at Le Petit Social! Chamonix probably is bigger and more going and Les Praz little is a little quieter but that was perfect for us!
Definitely would come back here! Thank you so much for a lovely stay!!! : )
