Beautiful Stop

This is the second time (and not the last) that we have stopped at the Yeuse, and unless one is masochistic, it is because the services offered suit us.
We appreciate the friendliness of the staff at all levels (reception, restaurant, and housekeeping).
Place: refined and calm.
Interior modernism: its original decor.
Comfort: bedding, equipment, space...
Just a small reservation regarding the pricing of certain dishes and drinks/wines.
The breakfast price is indeed a bit high, but the offered products are numerous and varied, local, and of very good quality. The buffet is monitored and restocked.
Establishment allowing a stop in a "select" place for a controlled budget.

What an amazing hotel, staff were very friendly and the food must be tried here. It was out first trip with our new 4 month old and the staff could not have been more helpful or welcoming . Great hotel to hang out in for a few days.

Open your eyes

An exceptional setting, quiet, overlooking the Charente valley, a warm welcome, very original room decor, quality dining, dishes that are as good as they are beautiful, a wellness area (sauna/hamam/jacuzzi) small but very pleasant: 5 good reasons to come to the hotel and for us to return.

Absolutely superb, spoiled only by an unsmiling and less-than-helpful restaurant manageress (who seemed to be in charge, at least) who was offhand and sullen which spoiled an otherwise perfect stay. Lovely location and facilities and food - all of the other staff were so pleasant and helpful.

So charming!

Make the round trip Louveciennes Cognac to buy a used vehicle with takeover of its old car. Consider that a little thousand kilometers in the day is a little bit much. Search for a charming hotel at a price that also charms my bank account. To think that such a quest is like squaring the circle. Don't believe too much... Well, precisely if: The Eye meets these criteria. The establishment is indeed all it has more charming, the welcome is just as charming, being able to enjoy a "salus per aquam" was very pleasant, as was going for a run along the river that gives its name to the hotel... not to mention the express breakfast formula, very generous (six mini-pastries, coffee or tea, a juice... all with a smile and a breathtaking view), where most hostels settle for the minimum union. Can't wait to get back;-)
