Great as usual

A new superb experience at the Domaine de Clécy.
Superb welcome, quiet place, very relaxing, where it is good to live for several days, it is just great.
Everything is there, the hotel, the restaurant, the golf course, the spa, the animals, a pure wonder for a lovely and sweet moment of life.
We will go back, again and again, with great pleasure.

Pathetic

Stay booked for my husband's birthday..We arrive at the reception to introduce ourselves and the receptionist announces that there is no reservation in our name What a joke!!! I requested a quote for 1 green fee, 2 dinners, and 2 breakfasts, which I accepted! I did not receive a confirmation email, but having had someone on the phone to give our arrival dates and for the course reservation, and since she took note and informed me that she would pass it on, I trusted her For us, it was okay Huge disappointment And the receptionist who has the nerve to tell me that I might have mistaken the establishment No, what a joke Anyway, I'll stop there!! It's a shame to have to leave a negative review!!!!

Very bad memory

In summary, the potential is there thanks to the view and the kindness of the staff, but the comfort of room 50 is not up to the price paid. A renovation and safety improvements (bathtub) are essential.
Value for money is not there, avoid it.

This hotel should be downgraded

This hotel deserves to be downgraded!!
This 3-star hotel has a golf course and mainly receives people who will stay several days with the aim of playing golf. These guests benefit from the best rooms, while others, including myself (reservation for one night), are housed in shabby rooms that are worth at most one star. Unfortunately, I paid upon arrival: poorly cleaned room, dirty bathroom faucet, bare ceiling light without a bulb, TV the size of a postage stamp, bedroom door that barely closes, only one very wobbly chair in the room, and above all, non-functional toilet. That's a lot for €115 a night! This establishment is at its end; the exterior is deteriorated, and repairs are done hastily.
In short, the nice rooms are assigned to golfers, while transient guests are relegated to the stables.

A beautiful place

What a beautiful find this was. I visited in September with my 91 year old parents The owner and her staff are so friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble. The food is delicious and a new menu each night. All fresh local produce presented beautifully. The hotel is in the most tranquil location. A perfect place to relax. If you however you play golf the course is magnificent. This is a place perfect for anyone who is looking for the perfect French retreat. Oh and they speak English too. Parfait
