Pleasant stopover

Beautiful inn overlooking the Aubrac plain. pleasant room with a large bathroom, good bedding. Hearty evening meal with rice salad, ribs with fries and carrots and dessert of your choice. A few pleasant tables at the edge of the inn to enjoy the view and have an aperitif.

inedible , run away!!!!

Hostel in name only
poor reception; you are told that you can not eat before 12:15, difficult to get an aperitif. The waitress does not want to serve some customers, so I had to ask another person to have a drink.
We took the half breast of duck and aligot (this is the area); we received duck fillet and aligot in poorly prepared flakes.

Poorly educated

We have tried to eat / dine twice arriving early because of the schedule they have here and even having the huge empty lounge we have been told that everything is booked.... They only feed French people!!!. They are poorly educated and laugh at you.... I do not recommend anything.....then they come to our Country and we are taaan fools to have everything conformed to them...and they here treat you terrible (not all ).

Compostela path stop

Nice and clean room. Restaurant dinner and breakfast very correct. Great location. Very beautiful village of Conques. Friendly welcome to the hotel.
Long wait for dinner, arrived at 7 p.m., barely able to finish the meal to be on time at the office at 8:30 p.m.

Comfortable room and excellent evening meal

A night spent at the St Jacques inn while hiking on the GR. Room for 3 on the top floor, good bedding and bathroom with bathtub. For the evening half board, nothing to complain about since it's the inn's menu. Generous portions and it's good. Decent breakfast which is not served as a buffet. Conclusion: we could have feared that this address would be a tourist trap, but this is not the case and that's a good thing.
