Hotel is clean, however very run down and in need of a renovation. Beds were comfortable and room size was decent. Shower head would not stay up in place, wallpaper coming off the walls, wood trim pieces in hallway severely worn. AC unit ran but our room never cooled down. It was very warm even though temps outside were chilly. Would stay again if the price was good, however just be prepared it is nothing like a Disney World or Disneyland hotel in the US

Very tired looking hotel but the location is perfect.
Staff were hit and miss - we spent 30 minutes trying to get a room change from our original one that smelt badly and had broken air conditioning. There were plenty of free rooms as the hotel was nowhere near full so I don’t understand why it took so long to arrange.
Food is very average for what should be a hotel of this calibre

Pictures of this hotel are very deceiving- it is looking extremely tired and run down. We left the marvel hotel to stay here for 1 night and really regretted it. Pool is tired and changing rooms lacking working facilities. We had an issue with our toilet flooding in our room and called reception- where the issue was ignored and never logged. Dirty glasses just left in the corridors for the 2 days we were there. There are a lot nicer hotels on Disney property, for way cheaper.

I was really disappointed for not being able to use the amenities after check-out at 11:00 am. My departure was planned for 17:00. Since I had passed 3 days in the parks, I was expecting to relax at the pool for the last afternoon because I was not able to use it for my whole stay but the refused 😔 First Time in my life

Newport Bay – Honest Family Review
We stayed at Disney’s Newport Bay Club for 4 nights/5 days as a family of four, with park tickets included. While our Disneyland Paris holiday was truly magical and the parks exceeded all expectations ❤️✨, our experience at the hotel was unfortunately mixed.
Check‑in was excellent — organised, quick and friendly. Staff were helpful throughout our stay, and our room itself was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. We were very happy with the room overall.
However, a persistent issue with our shower significantly impacted our stay.
We reported the broken shower on our first day and were told maintenance would repair it while we were in the parks. After a long day, we returned to find nothing had been done. The same happened on the second and third days: we left early, returned late, and the shower remained unrepaired despite multiple conversations with reception. Maintenance eventually arrived around 10pm one evening, but our children were asleep, so no work could be carried out.
Reception offered us a room change for the following day, which we appreciated, but they couldn’t confirm when the new room would be ready. With a lunch reservation and needing to get the children ready beforehand, moving rooms without any timing guarantee wasn’t practical.
It was only later that we were told the hotel didn’t actually have the part needed to fix the shower, meaning the issue was never going to be resolved during our stay. This was frustrating, as clearer communication from the beginning would have allowed us to make an informed decision about moving rooms straight away.
We were offered one FastPass for the family, which was a kind gesture, but after four full days in the parks we had already completed most of the rides on our list, so it didn’t really compensate for the inconvenience.
The hotel itself is lovely, with great theming and a fantastic location, but it would benefit from some maintenance and updating in places. More importantly, communication around our issue could have been much better. For a 4‑star hotel, especially during a summer heatwave, a functioning shower feels like a very basic necessity.
That said, we cannot fault Disneyland Paris itself — the parks were everything we hoped for and more, and we still had an incredible family holiday. ❤️✨
Would we stay at Newport Bay again? Possibly. The atmosphere, location and overall hotel experience were positive, but we would hope to see improvements in maintenance and communication.
