Gem in La Defense

The Adagio is a little gem! On an out of the way little street (so cute), but next to a grocery store, bakery, pharmacy, Starbucks, Metro Station, and in walking distance to the concert venue that was the reason for our trip. Large room and all newly renovated. Asked for an extra blanket and they said they didn't have one... that was a bummer, but I'm a Vermonter so I know how to handle the cold. The little heater in the room wasn't working. Directions for how to use appliances was great since it was all in Celsius. Super quiet and safe area... we went in February so it's definitely a slow time. Front desk woman was incredibly kind and welcomed me by name after check-in when she would see me heading out. Pastries upon arrival was a cute touch. Price couldn't be beat. Small issue with room setup as you had the option to have a double or two twins... tried to contact hotel directly and it was very difficult through such a large company with so many hotels to get to the actual front desk (tried avoiding an international phone call charge). This is a very sweet hotel that I would recommend for any type of travel and my family travels at least four times a year.

Very big disappointment

Extremely disappointed by our stay during a Bad Bunny concert.
Moreover, the only asset the hotel benefits from and abuses in terms of pricing is its proximity to the La Défense Arena, about a ten-minute walk away. Subway nearby too.
The rooms are dated, small, poorly equipped, and above all, not air-conditioned. We were told that was never the case, but the reality is that they have been broken for a long time and replaced by a large, ultra-noisy, and inefficient fan.
We had a triple room with a non-convertible and uncomfortable sofa that wasn't even set up when we arrived.
Minimalist welcome as well, which does not encourage indulgence in the reviews.
Decent breakfast, nothing more.
When I tell you that I paid €260 per night and, on top of that, an exorbitant tourist tax that I had never seen elsewhere of €14 per person per night (!!! Because it's an apartment hotel!), you will understand that I totally advise against this hotel, to which I will never return.

A disappointing experience.

Very cold welcome; it was impossible to retrieve our room before exactly 3 PM. Dirty apartment, sticky floor... full ashtray on the balcony, broken closet doors. No reversible air conditioning, only "toaster" heaters. One electrical outlet was loose, and nothing could be plugged into it. The double bed consists of two independent box springs on wheels, and the locks no longer work; the beds slide whenever you move! The trundle bed is really just a spare bed; even for a child, it is very limited. It's a shame because it is very well located in relation to the Arena.

Will not repeat the experience, a good location does not justify everything

No air conditioning, cleanliness needs improvement, passable welcome

Stay AWAY

Please stay away from this place. It is the definition of tourists’ trap. Slightly better than a hostel with prices of a 4 star hotel.
- No warm water or no water at all.
- Rooms partially renovated.
- Fake pictures in all booking platforms.
- No hotel facilities.
- Rude staff.
Honestly, the worst place I have ever been to. There are lots of better places to stay around.
P.S. if I could I would gave no stars at all.
