Warm welcome in Dieppe

Many thanks to our hosts Valerie and Frederic for their great welcome and an unforgettable stay at the Guest house Atypik. We particularly enjoyed the sunny breakfast on the roof terrace, with a special mention for Valerie's homemade brioche. Our room was comfortable and consistent with the photos, and the location (only a few minutes walk from the port) was perfect to discover the remarkable Point of Sale and pebble beaches. We will know where to find a warm welcome during our next visit to Dieppe!

We didn't arrive in Dieppe via Ferry until 10.30pm and therefore didn't get to Chambre d'Atypik until late about 10.45pm. Isabelle and Laurent were both there to welcome us. Our room was charming and spotlessly clean. It was on the first floor with freestanding bath in room. Shared toilet. Breakfast was great and we were able to chat with another couple who were also staying. The house is charming and used to be a bar called "Chez Juliette" It has been tastefully renovated without losing its history The bar is still there! We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Stopover en route to England

Well what an amazing find wonderful place to stay very quirky and an excellent breakfast would highly recommend to anyone and also within easy walking distance of the sea and restaurants and shops etc

Lovely hosts and comfortable sunny room

This bed and breakfast is a lucky find. Hosts Laurent and Isabelle are welcoming and charming. Within easy walking distance of the ferry and town/harbour/beach, we could have left our car behind. Free on-street parking outside. The breakfast was delicious. A very quirky property. If you have mobility problems, ask for a downstairs room. We were able to manage the narrow stairs ( my husband is 86!) but some would find them difficult. Our room was actually 2 adjoining bedrooms with an en-suite, so very spacious.
We would definitely stay here again if visiting Dieppe.

Fantastic find

Isabelle and Laurent are the perfect hosts. The accommodation is lovely, a trifle quirky, but we loved it all the more for that. The beds are comfortable and the breakfasts were superb. Couldn't have booked a better place.
