An exceptional moment that we want to renew
This comment is well thought out since we stayed 2 nights at this castle already 3 weeks ago.
It was one of the best moments of all our stays. We cannot thank enough the welcome and kindness of our hostess. It was our second experience at Chambiers Castle and this time we chose the Pierre Loti room. Not believable we felt transported to the museum of Rochefort!
Dinners and breakfasts that some restaurants would want. Delicious, the word is weak.
What a joy this brief stay in the middle of such a park. You don't have to cross France to find such good times.
We look forward to another moment to renew this pleasant moment.
A little word for the little Ukrainian intern Lisa whose smile and kindness completed this stay.

RUN AWAY!!!
To flee!!!
We chose Chambiers Castle for its exterior beauty and for the many cottages on site.
Great regret! The cottages and castle were unsanitary, extremely wet, with mice with sheets that were stained by mouse droppings and wet, the foul smell shows that the cottages are in a bad state! In addition, Ms. Crouan was unsympathetic and misguided.
The cottage for the bride and groom is not much better, the bathtub deserves to be cleaned and a broken bay window for at least 1 year shows complete contempt for the bride and groom.
In short, it leaves us with a bitter taste for the price paid, we are ashamed to have welcomed our family and friends in such conditions...
It is also under increased URSAFF control, which inspires little confidence.

Il est parfois difficile de répondre à certaines attentes j'en suis bien consciente mais vous avez visité et revisité la propriété à plusieurs reprises avant votre séjour jamais vous n' avez émis le moindre commentaire.
Je déplore cette volonté de me nuire comme vous le faites ci dessus et dans les autres avis que vous avez publiés, cela s'apparente à du harcèlement.
Ces excès sont agréablement tempérés par les avis positifs d'autres voyageurs.
En revanche ce qui est inacceptable et je ne puis le laisser passer c'est votre allégation totalement mensongère quand à un contrôle renforcé de l'URSSAF c'est de la diffamation et je me réserve le droit d''en tirer les conséquences.

Beautiful old chateau. Very comfy beds.
No one around when we arrived. Had to wander the grounds looking for someone to check us in. We were offered a soft drink when the lady finally arrived. Never met the owners during our two days stay. We presumed they must be on holiday. Previous reviews were not the same as our experience.

A moment of happiness in the countryside
Chambiers is a pure wonder!
The calm, the beauty of the heritage and the welcome of Anne Crouan are just perfect! We will not forget the quality of the gourmet dinner and breakfast and especially the smile and empathy of the local mistress.

Unforgettable experience!
We reserved the very end of our trip to France to visit the Loire Valley, with the firm intention of staying in a castle. After some research, we chose Chateau Chambiers and it was the best decision!! Incredible experience staying overnight in a legitimate 17th century chateau, where the owner was born and lives to this day with his wife Anne. We opted for the Caroline room, named after the room's previous occupant, the couple's daughter, what an honor! Comfortable room, wonderful bathroom fit for a princess, Anne received us extremely receptively for a happy hour with sparkling wine and was also responsible for serving us an incredible dinner and breakfast. They use their own inputs and game meat from the region. Immensely grateful to the family, we hope to repeat the experience with more friends or family. Anne even gave us tips on where to visit on our way back to Paris, Chartres was beautiful... If you have the opportunity, don't miss out on living this fairy tale! Anne, merci beaucoup pour votre attention et votre accueil!!

Merci beaucoup à tous les deux, nous sommes très touchés. Être agréable en tous points est notre principal souhait. J'ai beaucoup aimé échanger avec vous, cette soirée reste un super moment.
