Disappointing experience…
Upon our arrival, although early, we were seated at a table located right next to the barbecue, with the smoke blowing directly towards our table. This table, as well as the chairs, were not clean. After requesting to change seats, which was accepted, we nonetheless felt a certain irritation from the staff.
Subsequently, we waited nearly 20 minutes before receiving the menu and being able to order an appetizer, which is particularly regrettable during a heatwave.
Lunch, on the other hand, went well: the dishes were good and the meat was of high quality.
We had also reserved a massage by phone (for one of us, due to unavailability for three people). At the end of the meal, no coffee or herbal tea was offered to us, so we headed towards the spa area. It was then that we were informed that no massage reservation had been recorded. Beyond this error, what surprised us the most was that no solution or alternative was offered to us, except to return another day, even though we are not from the area.
The welcome at the spa was rather cold. Moreover, the sauna was not warm enough and the steam room was not producing any steam, giving the impression of not functioning properly. We also noticed that the jacuzzi was being cleaned in the middle of the afternoon and was therefore not accessible during part of our reservation slot.
When we politely asked if it was possible to receive a goodwill gesture considering the issue with the massage, our request received a response that we found particularly curt and aggressive.
Finally, at the time of payment, no staff member asked us how our experience had been. The only question asked was regarding the addition of a tip.
It is really a shame, as the setting is pleasant and the cuisine is successful. However, the lack of attention to customers, organizational errors, and the attitude of some staff members greatly tarnished this day that we had specially organized to celebrate a birthday.
Unfortunately, we do not recommend this establishment as it stands.
